    • I agree with you but the narrative concerning Donald is that he fights way better when he gets along with his opponent. When his fights are like sparring matches folks think he excels in that situation but when there's animosity between himself and his opponent many think he doesn't cope well. I don't concur with this but I can understand someone who does might decide to be disrespectful to Donald looking for a competitive edge even though in reality they might secretly have much respect for Cowboy.

    • To be fair, Mcgregor and Cowboy train at the same gym and they are great friends. From this, Mcgregor already knew cowboy's fighting style and adjusted while cowboy knew mcgregor's fighting style changed, but didn't adjust. In general, it was a really good match up for Mcgregor, but cowboy is still a formidable fighter

    • he was unlucky enough to be at the top of the toughest weight class in the sport when his age started to catch up to him. If he had been ranked 15 or just outside the rankings there's a good chance he'd be where Jim Miller is and still winning fights. He was the #4 lightweight after he beat the everloving shit out of Al Iaquinta, so he had to fight guys like Tony, Justin, and Conor which just took a toll.
