  • If you ever want to Meet Jeff Daniels, you can see him in person in Michigan. He's very personable. He lives near Chelsea, Michigan, and still operates The Purple Rose Theater. Very nice guy. He likes his privacy, but that's overcome by his niceness.

  • Jeff Daniels and Bill Murray are cut from the same mold. They are both "beloved" of their audiences. I adore them both. I just enjoy their work so much. It's like hearing two really great pickers trading licks. Just lovely.

    • @@Jen7867 Rumors?? No. He's been a huge problem for years and just settled a lawsuit for sociopathic harassment of a female co-star on set which resulted in the production being shut down. I don't know if it's because his old age is causing psychopathic episodes or what, but he's not hirable right now, there's no insurance company that will touch him.

    • @@av1421 Older glue is made out of rendered down animals, with horses as a particularly popular choice because they apparently have a _lot_ of collagen in them. I don't think most modern glues are made the same way, because it's probably pretty expensive, but it's an old saying.

    • I was part of the live audience for this episode, they actually cut a lot out from the full interview. There was more to the story and a longer explanation about the director saying "we're in the wrong room". I guess that part and Stephen's reaction didn't make the cutting room floor.
