  • In case you're wondering. Bay Cities Deli's Godmother sandwich: Freshly baked crusty bread, four Italian meats (Genoa Salami, Mortadella Cappacola, Ham and Prosciutto) plus Provolone plus “The Works” (mayo, mustard, onions, pickles, lettuce, tomatoes, homemade Italian dressing and pickled hot or mild peppers)

    • For years, I used to work two block from Bay Cities, and we used to go there at least a couple times a week for sandwiches. Their godmother is famous and sells the most, but honestly, all of their sandwiches are amazing! They also bake their own bread, so if you're lucky, you can get your hands on fresh bread warm out of the oven. 😋

    • Unfortunately, when my parents passed away, I was living abroad, so I had no chance to say goodbye or stay by their side at the end of their lives. But years ago, I had such a powerful dream that I was visiting them at their home, and they embraced me one by one and gave me a kiss. This feeling was so real that I could feel their perfume. Each time that I tried to tell my wife or a friend about it, I missed my voice, and tears started rolling from my eyes, and I gave up to tell it. So I know Matt's feeling. 😢

  • I was ecstatic that another person had the same experience as I did! A year or so after my dad passed, I experienced the most joy-filled sensation of peace, well-being, calm, beautiful love... words can not express the FEELINGS that swept through me. I KNEW it was my dad's beautiful soul letting me know to stay the good path...he would see me on the other side. ✌️& ❤

    • Bah, nothing but seizure-inducing cgi. Definitely an 80's kid generational thing. (Yes, I know it was realesed in 1999). The premise of machines needing humans as living batteries has got to be one of the stoooopidest ideas ever. Besides the Matrix is in the sci-fi genre, not action. Now the Jason Bourne movies are great in the action catagory.

      @ricknoyb1613@ricknoyb1613Ай бұрын
    • @@ricknoyb1613 It's sci-fi and action. Not all sci-fi films are action films. The Matrix definitely is.

    • @@ricknoyb1613 First of all it, is of the sci-fi action category. Second, the cgi is actually insane for 1999. And third, how is the idea of farming organics to convert to power " the stoooopidest idea ever"? But its ok we can't all have good taste.
