I played old war bc you could play the prep entirely with tournament standard since classic, and draft, 2x ELIXER draft didn’t use your card lvs and war day had all the lv13 cards capped to what their war card lvs where, old war was soo f2p and beginner friendly

played all lv13s as a lv10 today very fair and balanced matchmaking
ikr I hate the matchmaking system so much, its probably the biggest reason why I don't play the game often anymore. I'm a level 10 with mostly level 9 cards (some are 8 some are 10) And 90% of the time I'll get matched up against a level 11 or 12 with level 11 and 12 cards. It fucking sucks. And that's for like clan war and non-ladder stuff. I dont play ladder lol, I havent played it in 2 years actually.

I like how clan wars 2 implemented new mechanics and stuff but I feel like the matchmaking needs to be a bit more fair. For example my classmates who are level 11 all faced level 12 and 13 but my other clanmates who were level 10 was facing level 9, 10 and sometimes 11.

It’s not really about the card rarities, it’s about the cards not being dependent on their level. It doesn’t matter toooo much if they’re a little under leveled
He clearly stated that Graveyard isn't level dependent on being an effective win condition.
Rarity distribution has equalized since 2016 and don't mean much in terms of pulls anymore. The F2P is more so based on level dependent interactions 👍

The x bow deck can be varied with this deck This has a very high win rate and can be mastered easily X bow, Tesla, mini pekka, knight, ice wizard, skeletons, log, rocket
Gy, mortar and MK miner bait are my go to decks so those decks work great for me

Graveyard was my first legendary, back when getting a legendary actually meant something extremely hard. I tried to fit it in a deck (mostly with freeze) but failed with comical results (1 win out of 15 battles).

I use cards that do a lot of damage in one hit. Enemy troops spawn per hit instead of per damage.

I used graveyard barbarian hut with level 10/11 cards and won against a maxed out player by 133 hp. Graveyard is super good if you’ve been playing it for a while.

Kite means distract. Tank means a troop that takes damage for other troops.
