K3 is a solid budget mech keyboard! I disagree with putting the USB port on the side of the keyboard. 1. it will most likely interfere with your mouse 2. the aethestic looks ugly having a cable coming out from the side of the keyboard 3. there is a high chance that you can accidentally bump it while you are switching your hands from keyboard to mouse or vice versa
Hi Techno! That is an interesting point. I always thought the 2.0 slot is used for temporary things. Like if you want to get pictures from your hard drive and then take it out after 3 minutes. I wasn't considering any long term stuff sticking out from there. If it's long term stuff, I stick it at the back of the pc. :P But good point nevertheless.

I've been using my K3 for more than a year now. Apart from the infamous LED issue, I've had 0 issues so far. The switches are amazing out of the box and even after a year+ of heavy use they still feel the same; clicky and tactile. I've had some issues with the armory crate software but that was on my end and not an issue of the software itself so i won't be counting that. But yea, solid keyboard in general but an amazing one for the price.

@@kenannetekimpasaevren7420 So as you know each LED has 3 separate diodes for Red, Green and Blue that combines in respective percentages to produce the desired color. So when all 3 colors are at 100% it should produce the white color. But after a while some of these RGB diodes becomes a bit dimmer in intensity. This changes the color in certain keys. For example, when I put my keyboard on full white setting, some keys shows a yellow tint because the green and blue diodes on those LEDs are producing a lower intensity than it's supposed to, making the red color diode that's producing a normal intensity more visible in contrast and therefore appearing light yellow instead of white. It's only truly noticeable when you're using light colors but it can be quite obvious if you're looking for it. So if you are bothered by LEDs looking off I don't think this is the keyboard for you.
I wish you would do a how-to lube the stabilizers for the k3.

I think the usb up from the keyboard and not on a side may be better to me, because to be honest i dont like moving things to plug another and i always let the mouse just next to the keyboard and plug that and then keep using the mouse sounds unconfortable :d to me
Bro... How in the actual heck do we use Macros on this keyboard? I have the Armoury Crate software and make macros but there is no apparent way to bind them to any keys on the K3

I’m just now getting this keyboard from xidax because of a deal they had for spending over 3k on a desktop. It comes with the m3 mouse you were advertising too. I might try the mouse but I’m using a razor naga with the 1-12 buttons on the side. I don’t think I could ever depart from it as I love using it for macros and key bindings. But I’m excited about using the keyboard

Just bought my K3 and M3 from Lazada and I only spent 3,500php. I know I'm a bit late on the trend but I can definitely say this is worth every penny. I got the Red Switch Ver. and I absolutely now prefer this over the blue switch. I'm hoping this could last for more than 3 years, for both KB/M. Great review though!

After a fresh install I always go to ninite.com/ and download my usual programs. Having them packed all into one installer makes things a lot easier.

Yes you can, there's a keyboard function for that
Been using this keyboard for a month now and I must say this is very worth it however my only problem is the keyboards keycaps do get dirty quickly since it is using ABS keycaps so for a short use I already notice it becoming greasy and shiny. Overall though I would highly recommend this keyboard it is very good and very worth it for the price.

Sa akin December ko nabili tapos 3 months may napansin ako sa ng 2 keys, tapos ngayon 7 na sila.. kahit naka off rgb kapag tinaggal key caps may kunting ilaw padin.. Iniisip ko nga kung mag papawarranty kaso na hahassle-An ako..

Hi, do you happen to know what is the LED specification of this keyboard? 2 LEDs has malfunction after I used it for 2 months. I am utterly speechless
sorry I don't - would suggest returning it to where you got it from, should still be covered by warranty
@@hwsph I want to claim for warranty, but the ans that i got is, those LEDs should be totally malfunction, which mean they cant even light up, then I only can claim for warranty. That will be not be my case because my LEDs can light up but maybe certain components are broken which cause certain colour cant light up
@@teongjihperng3180 I think the solders for the LED might have gone bad if its only displaying 2 or 1 colors per switch.

Switch color just determines how it feels and how much effort it takes to press down on it. So blue switches are "clicky ". They are loud and takes a little more effort to press down. I like blue switches because I find pressing down on them and hearing the noise is very satisfying. Red switches are quieter and require less effort to press down.

Ahh sorry I should have clarified. I meant there are no macro keys. Bigger keyboards usually have special macro keys to the right or left in addition to the regular keyboard keys. Check out the Corsair K95 (www.corsair.com/us/en/Categories/Products/Gaming-Keyboards/RGB-Mechanical-Gaming-Keyboards/k95-rgb-platinum-config-na/p/CH-9127114-NA). It has 6 separate macro keys to the far left. The 8 programmable keys on this KB use existing keys on the keyboard.

Humihina yung blue light ng ilang keys (sa akin NUM2 lang) then kahit naka turn off rgb yung ilang keys kapag tinanggal mo key cap may kunting light padin not totally turned off. 🙁

K3 user here. It's worth every peso. Your mileage may vary though if you're using it for productivity tasks due to the loud clacking of its blue switches.

I love my tuf laptop fx504 and its absolute silent and efficient keyboard. I tried many keyboards and they were not enough silent for me... I bought this one thinking it would have the perfect silence and precision of my laptop because it is the same brand : in fact, NONE of the other gaming keyboards I tried was noisy like this K3. I hate the very very very loud noise audible in the whole house and the fact that the keys are loose and moving when I barely touch them. If I had tried before I would have never ever bought it. With my laptop I can work all night long while my wife watches TV, she can't Gear me typing. It's impossible with TUF K3!!!!! Why are the keys not as silent and perfectly built as my Asus TUF gaming laptop ? What I hate most apart the horrible harsh noise is the latency before the words I type appear : I don't have this problem with the built-in keyboard.

@@hwsph I like it, its very nice build quality but does take some getting used to as I've used laptops and flat apply keyboards for the last 15 years or more. Can I ask, is it possible to set a colour for only illuminating specific keys in a colour I choose? I'm looking for F1 as OK in green and F7 in Yellow for example... I have looked at both versions of the ASUS software but don't seem to get it to do very much except for set colour patterns Asus set. Would be great if you could do aa video on this.

Maingay talaga lahat ng mga blue switches. :) Pero may brown at red switches din yung keyboard at hindi mashadong maingay yung mga switches na yan. Get Brown, should be the quietest.

It's a damn good keyboard, especially the price. but what's bullshit is ASUS and their trash Armoury Crate that doesn't install on my computer. I tried every single method to fix this but still no success. In the end, I got a good RGB keyboard but the RGB is kinda useless since I cant customize the lights. If you are a fan of good RGB keyboards, I'd recommend buying Razers instead. Though much more expensive, Chroma will not disappoint. Synapse is easy to download and detects your hardware immediately and the custom RGB lights Chroma gives when you play games is what brought me to buy RGB lights on my build.
