Today AD brings you to the lush hillside neighborhood of Los Feliz in Los Angeles to visit the enchanting home of actress Vanessa Hudgens. Hudgens spent five years searching for the right property before settling upon the Georgian colonial house she now calls home, undertaking renovations both on her own and in tandem with interior designer Jake Arnold. With her work comes many nights on the road (she stars in Lin Manuel Miranda’s upcoming directorial debut, “Tick, Tick...Boom!”) meaning Vanessa’s home has become a place to return to, renew, and reconnect. “It’s nice to know that when I get home, I’ll have a bath waiting for me. I always savor that first soak.”

As an architect, this is one of the most beautiful houses I've ever seen. It's romantic, it's vintage, it's cozy. Edit: english is not my first language! These "basic" words were the only few that I could think of, lol! I believe what I ment is that her home is a perfect mix of modern and old, clean surfaces, materials with a bit of texture.. It's a combination not always easy to achieve. Congrats to her design team.

The "empty" spaces in her home just feel like she's waiting for the right pieces to come along and fit there - there's no rush to buy placeholders or generic items. And if you’re an owner of a beautiful property, you surely liked to know your property, it doesn’t mean you live there or not, you own it... it’s your right to know especially if you have a collector side of you.. she can have another house in Calabasas just because you know the history doesn’t mean you live there 24/7/365 could be 3 months of the year could be less..

What a beautiful home! So often, people who can afford it, have homes that are over-sized, contemporary, sterile mansions that have expensive features but lack warmth, character and imagination. Vanessa's home exudes quality with attention to details. She blended old world French, Italian, English and whimsical fairy-tale aspects with vintage 50's Hollywood and modern-day contemporary design seamlessly. She did an amazing job!

Kendall Jenners home was amazing.
I love the architecture and grounds. I love the dark bathroom and the dark backsplash in the kitchen. I love the wall art. I love the idea of putting tall greenery in the vases. I love that Vanessa collects books. Darla is so cute and obviously shy. Big rooms, but intimate spaces. This is my favorite AD tour so far.

An absolutely stunning home and serene haven. I love the Mediterranean feel, the beautiful French doors, and the romantic, old Hollywood glamour and vintage touches throughout. The soft orange and terracotta tones work nicely against the fresh white, and greenery of the plants. Offset by the deeper dramatic tones of the gorgeous powder room and bathroom. Just a delight, start to finish!
She questioned herself on the orange drapes but wow they are incredible. It gives the room a nice glow to it.

And I love that she added the poster as a reminder of the history of the house. The green space was awesome

I'm here to see ordinary netizens pretend to be amazed at celebrity homes only because some beautiful celebrity is giving the tour and narating it. TOLL BROTHERS have $1million built and gated community homes that beats most $12million celebrity homes easily but don't get that kind of reaction.

I just plain love houses, whether a reimagined older house like Vanessa’s, a perfectly intact period house,or a house born in 2021. No matter who they belong to, or if certain taste doesn’t align with mine, I’m still here to enjoy them all 🙂
I had the pale green mid-century tile in the kitchen of my last place. Also paired with red, strangely enough. But, yes, always happy to see in places still!

This is my favorite celebrity home. So much texture, color, history and originality. I had stopped looking at celebrity homes because they all had that same white minimalist look to them. It was like if you've seen one you've seen them all. But THIS house? 5 stars!!!🤩 Thankful that she is different.
I just love how she appreciates the tiny details as much as she does the grander parts of her home. And the fact that Gary Oldman lived there prior to her is such a sweet flex.

I personally didn’t even like the K. Jenner house. I prefer Dakota Johnson’s and Nina Dobrev’s kind of vibe at home.

This is one of the most gorgeous homes and outdoor spaces I have ever seen! Everything felt very modern and yet had lots of vintage charm. There was so much color and texture and life--I loved everything about it! And Now I want a black bathroom!
