    @rafgp@rafgp4 жыл бұрын
    • Well those Dickies pants are what skateboarders usually wear. No hipster as far as I've seen, has ever worn those. He gets away with the look because of the pants and their tie to 2000's skate culture. It just shows that he's from that era.

    • I take it you live in a city because, in rural southern areas, lots of people dress like that. Minus the chucks but even then some wear them. And I can tell you right now, there is a distinct lack of hipsters in these parts.

      @redragna3648@redragna3648 Жыл бұрын
    • @@redragna3648 I live in a semi-rural town in Belgium and I’ve often only ever seen one of the local farmers dress like how Knoxville was in this video (although I do know that flannel shirts and stuff are way more common in the southern US). That said, I’ve been going to cities a lot more recently and actually saw a few people dressed somewhat similar to Knoxville in the video but as far as I’m aware not a whole lot of teens like to wear flannel shirts (let alone in combination with jeans) anymore, at least not in the areas where I often go to. Flannel does seem to be a bit popular with 30-somethings who’ve just become parents, but I haven’t really seen much of that because most of the people in my town are 65+ and not a lot of people are moving into town right now. @AlgaeEater09 As for the pants, I wasn’t around early enough to personally witness early 2000’s skate culture (here in Belgium), but from what I can gather from things I found online about how it used to be over here and also how a lot of skaters I know from school dress (since modern teen fashion here generally seems to be going back to the 2000’s skating era, even among people who don’t even skate), it’s mostly just stupidly oversized jeans or tracksuit pants here. (Dickies pants specifically don’t seem that popular over here, at least from what I can tell.) Guess that just goes to show how certain things like fashion, especially within in a single hobby/culture (like skating), depend quite a bit on what country you live in.

However in Middle East, brother and sister or mother to son or father to daughter or uncle to niece or niece to aunt is a NO NO and will get sentenced to death. However cousin marriage is common in Middle East only.
