GPDX next! I'd love it if you could watch it when it comes out because the GPDX soundtracks is one of the best in all of Mario Kart, and it's much different to GP1 and GP2. You'll definitely find a banger you didn't know you needed :)

Honestly if there was any time a rainbow road deserved to win, it would be here. 3DS Rainbow Road actually has the most gas music
3DS Cheep-Cheep Lagoon’s easily one of the top 5 lamest Nitro courses in Mario Kart history, up there with DS Figure-8 Circuit, in terms of track design, theming and OST.
I really don’t see it. The ost is really good, the theming is more interesting then most other beach tracks and the really skinny path in the cave is a really interesting track element. I’m not saying it’s a masterpiece, it is forgettable, but the absolutely terrible reputation it has feels a bit unfair
It’s more an introduction to the water mechanics really, it being kinda boring layout wise is understandable

I thought it was just for laughs and that "it sounds like subway surfer music" which I agreed on the first track at the bottom of the list but on rainbow road it didn't make any sense. Oh well lol thanks for clarifying. Personally I think the low grav driving on the moon is fun enough to watch.
Piranha Plant Slide's underwater version was hardcore robbed
I find it funny how last place barely is music, and second to last place is 16-bit music and everything with instrumentation etc and modern mixing is above it :p

Hell nah Kalimari Desert that low is insane its probably top 10 in 7 for me maybe even in the top 5 behind stuff like Maple Treeway, Wuhu Island, Waluigi Pinball and 3DS Rainbow Road

@@malakai9738 idk it’s just the n64 Kalimari desert’s Organ instrument sounds so delayed and bumpier, and 7 got a cleaner one which sounds more calmer and refreshing
@@malakai9738 like the 7 one sounds like your in a real western desert, the 64 one sounds so roomy and boxy, like the flutes are carrying the feel of it feeling like your in a western desert, but that’s only saying much

I was wondering why some of the courses had weird names, then I remembered that you were british
Tbh, there are only two MK7 Nitros I don't like. You can probably guess which two they are, but I'll say them anyway. Cheep Cheep Lagoon and Daisy Hills. Cheep Cheep Lagoon just disappoints me because I expect Peach Beach to kick in and it doesn't, and Daisy Hills just gives me a headache

I've always thought it sounded like it was playing through mall speakers, and I prefer it this way
one of the weaker osts tbh since a lot of the nitro tracks are just completely forgettable and the battle mode music is super underwhelming. at least the retro tracks are still bangers and rr exists
