Pete Souza is never far behind President Obama. In fact, sometimes he's ahead of him. As the President's chief White House photographer, Souza is the President's shadow. Now, National Geographic will follow Souza inside the Obama White House -- aboard Air Force One, backstage at the State of the Union, and into the heart of the West Wing. It's a behind-the-scenes look at the everyday grit of the American presidency and a chance to see what it's like to cover the most powerful man in the world, for posterity.
I'm so glad I was alive during the Obama presidency. No politician has ever made me get involved in politics. I wish it never had to end.

Watching Obama makes me not only want to be a better American but a better person.i tell my kids they can study and be like obama or play video games and be like trump. They study 3 to 4 hours a day. Even on weekends. Especially to broaden their basic knowledge. Forget restriction. The threat of ending up dumb is enough to scare them into studying

Truly an amazing intelligent, well spoken and charming President. He was a family man and listened to those around him. No wonder he got re-elected.

They don’t want black people learning at all because they don’t want them finding out how abusive and racist democrats are by design. Why do you think every 4 yrs they start a race war and then run on they will save them from the racist when the only racist around are democrats. All I know is democrats better hope god does not exist because I promise they will be turned down at the gate. Rule #1 in any Bible is All man is created equally. Now luckily for y’all I don’t think god exists, I think humans were found to be mean and nasty as democrats are today and they created religion to try and stop this bullying someone because the color of there pigmentation. It’s just disgusting. I have several black coworkers and friends like family. So i can’t just sit by and watch y’all knowingly and willingly oppress them by telling them they can’t can’t can’t do this or that because the color of the skin. They know a lot in the gang banging neighborhoods grew up with a bad home life and so they don’t have confidence anyways. It’s literally mentally and emotionally abusing children is what y’all are knowingly and proudly doing. You tell people how great they are is the correct way. All y’all do is tell them how great they are not and everything they can’t do because the do,or of there skin. It’s to keep them down probably so you can maintain something to run on but it’s sick and abusive.

I am a registered Republican, did not vote for him in '08, and I'm not saying that I love the guy, but I truly respect and have come to admire him...he does the best he can with what he is given, especialy an un-helpful Congress. You are absolutely right about President Obama so please do not pay any attention to racists people. I am an American and my family, friends, colleagues, students, and I love him and his family! In fact, everyone I know loves him. When had won, the first thing the Republicans said was they would make sure he is only a one-term president. Therefore, they vowed to block everything he did even if it was good for the country. Their own colleagues, fellow Republican Senators, and House Representatives admitted it, yet he went on to win a second term despite those who blocked his endeavors. After President Obama completed his last term, other Congressmen and Senators confessed to trying to sabotage his legacy by blocking and resisting his endeavors restore our economy, do what's right for this country and the people. After he won the presidency he said, "As president of our country, and commander-in-chief of our military, I accept that people are going to call me awful things every day, and I will defend their right to do so", and he has done just that. Among his other great qualities, his profound integrity, and love for people (supporters or not), this is why we love him and he will go down as the greatest president in history. No other president had to come into such as mess and demised economy where people were literally attempting and committing suicide as the result of losing everything due to the failures and lies of the previous president who started a war against a country that did absolutely nothing to our country. When President Obama was a senator, he voted against the Iraq War and he publicly spoke out against it too. The Republicans and their voters wanted that war and they started it, and even during Obama's presidency, he was against the war. However, his hands were forced due to the continued and constant attacks on us by ISIS, he had no choice but to debilitate their weapons and take out their leaders.
