I am 71 now and in all my years I've never seen backwards destructive leadership in our country as I have in the past 4 yrs. For sure in our state of Washington I've witnessed nothing but criminals be given more rights then the law abiding and the innocent. They are accommodating and allowing these acts of criminal behaviors . All I've witnessed is a complete perversion of morals , values, justice . No justice in our court systems anymore as well. In my days there was strict laws for criminal actions. You couldn't even run away from a brutal childhood home without being made ward of the state. All I know we never seen school shootings due to bullying, we never seen as I witnessed in Tacoma area my hometown where the addicted and criminals laughed on media mocking the system saying yes why not keep committing crimes we are let out the same day. There was mental health - bi polar in our days too , alot of my friends bi- polar still working today whom never committed a crime. We never got s.s.I like thousands of the young I c today gets housing help as well catered to without no stipulations, free to keep addicted as I watched them still commit crimes. While law abiding seniors are left on the streets. None of this was allowed in our days.. Complete vixation of any justice or morals in our society today. Our leaders and justice system today has put our world on a complete collision course. Colossal collapses in society today, so toxic.

Gratitude to Speaker Johnson and your colleagues for your moral clarity and for acting. We’ve felt so abandoned by our President.
My father fought for 3 years in North Africa as well as western Europe to wipe out Nazism. He was in the 62nd Field Artillery known as General Patton's Shock Troops. He fought at the Battle of the Bulge, as well at Omaha Beach. His unit passed thru Buchenwald Concentration Camp a few days after it had been liberated and saw the ovens where the Nazi put thousands of Jews to death, as well as wagons full of corpses. When I was in high school he told me that there was something even more of a threat to the world than communism and that was radical Islam. He lived to be 100 yrs. and 4 mo. and if he was alive today his would be disgusted to see what is happening in our country with the rise of anti-semitism.
My father was career military, though clearly not the same age as your father, but He was in the Cuban blockade, but yeah My dad would be so disturbed at what’s happening, Kind of makes me glad he’s gone to Jesus.

he UN's leaders prefer to maintain the Palestinians' refugees status because they get tons of money and power in behalf of the "Palestinian cause". The UN have 2 refugees agencies - UNHCR for around 100mil refugees around the world, and UNRWA only for the Palestinians. It's just absurd that the Palestinians still see themselves as refugees for 75 years. They could already have their own country but their leaders have refused any attempt for peace during the history (including the Oslo and Camp David talks in the 90s and 00s) and have never offered an alternative. Their "refugees camps" (prior to Oct-7th) are actually proper cities. Their leaders are corrupted, they prefer to get the money coming from donations, keep the people poor, and always blame Israel for all their problem. They teach their ppl about war and revenge (over events from the last century in which both sides weren't flawless) instead of peace and compromise. They never really try to SOLVE the problem but they rather USE the problem for their own good......
