  • It needs to be clear coated . Otherwise it will corrode or oxidize and the whole work gone down the drain. I have been through that myself with my diamond cut wheels.

  • The best part about your videos is that you're straight to the point, clear, concise and they're effectively edited. It's a delight to watch your videos that don't need to be skipped to 30% in for the relevant part to actually start, and without any useless talk about irrelevant crap. When I click any of your videos I know I will begin learning what the video is about as soon as it starts, clearly, effectively and concisely. I love it.

  • The Recipe is: you need to wipe off every scratch with sand paper (I used for my deeper scratches 120(dry) > 320(dry) > 500(wet) > 800 (wet) > 1000 (wet) > 2000(wet) ), then polish it to 'mirror' effect with Autosol for Aluminium or Metal, degrease it and then spray it when it's completely dry. I suggest to use hands only. Do NOT use any machines for that because you can make it even worse. Alloy wheels are very soft.

  • Love the video! Am just going through this now with my Dacia alloys, do you reckon I'd need to clear coat them to stop any oxidising or will they look relatively fresh if I just leave them polished?

  • You are amazing. You are great. You do such great and interesting videos that I want to do this myself and see what happens. I have rims that are damaged. Thank you.

  • Finished wheel looks good. I guess this might tarnish pretty quickly without a spray of clear coat though?

  • Do you need to spray with clear coat laqucer to secure the finish?

  • Well explained. Will you finish with a clear coat or continuous polish?

  • Would you not need a clear coat for protecting the metal on the long run????

  • This works well but keep in mind the aluminum will oxidise quickly which will require a polish occasionally

  • I did this one to wheels that were heavy curbed.. had to do a little more but sanding and polishing helped tremendously. Also.. u can use metal polish to give it a shine as well. Great Video by the way 👍🏽

  • You make it look easy, your directions are great, very precise, the results were amazing. I agree with the other's about final step of a clear coat for protection of all your hard work. Thank you

  • I feel like that rim was the perfect candidate for air tool sanding and polishing because the work area was so flat...well done!

  • Top job fella and have always thought about doing similar, and your no waffle or annoying music (as many videos use) explained everything needed to see and know what to do
