Australia: 7 Day rain & temperature trend forecast

High pressure south of Australia continues the dry easterlies for a large portion of WA and colder weather for the south east. In fact cooler air goes right up into Queensland this weekend and next week with temperatures dropping in number of places.
The easterly flow means cloud, showers and cooler weather affects the east the most - although Monday looks mild in Sydney ahead of the next cold front, which sees places like Melbourne only reach a high of 16.
We track rain and temperature trends over the coming week.
Also, our place of the day today is Spider Crater in the Kimberly Region… a very old meteorite crater that has a unique shape to it (hence the name!).
