I hope you read this buddy, i'm really concerned about why did Supercell just remove the "choosing brawler" dialog when someone's doing it, or the "typing" same thing. I literally can't see a single way it was better for the players to remove it. Now people don't know if you're choosing another brawler or just AFK, or those times when you write something to your buddy but they don't read it because now they can't see if you're typing or not. I really do not understand that change

I missed the mega box that tick replaced, and now I have completed the trophy road, by quickly climbing with my power 7 brawlers as a f2p, so I feel screwed. Feels bad like they are punishing players for being good at the game.

13:10 what about for the players who just completed trophy road, and didnt claim the boxes at 4k, 6k, and 8k because the brawlers were released before they got to that point? 😔
If you didn’t get the box at, for example, 4k, then it gets replaced by Tick and the box would be no longer available... similiar to 8-Bit and Emz... and they make no sense to the trophy road anymore
I genuinely understand Frank’s viewpoint in the game, but what about players who have already obtained mega boxes before the new brawlers were added, and are at the near beginning of the trophy road where all the changes are made after? Wouldn’t that be unfair to other players who have spent more time in the game to advance just to lose their chance to progress further by waiting due to the new rewards? I know so many players that have already completed the trophy road that still are struggling to obtain gold and powerpoints to progress through the game (including me), these extra mega boxes are not only more “fair”, but will be greatly appreciated. You can also look at it the other way, those who already have a max account wouldn’t necessarily be affected by the extra mega boxes, with the exception of more gems (it would be nice to see more players using skins). There’s really no downfall to this.
They didn't do it because people is gonna get a lot of gems and if that's happens no one will buy the nita or some others skin with money but only with the gems they got from those box... they make it for money that's it
yeah and what about the players who are almost at the end of the trophy road but not exactly there (14k ish). Im wondering if they will miss out on both the mega box at the end AND the previous buffed rewards.

I just think that we should get these rewards as well cuz some of us didnt get the 4k 6k and 8k mega box and didnt play takedown and lone star since the begining.
1st: Many players weren't playing takedown and lone star because of how annoying it was 2nd they're adding hot zones so we will still get that star token

They should give the people that have finished the road before others 45 boxes to be added to what ever amount that they have. It doesn’t matter about past rewards because the people that played longer should be rewarded for playing longer with this bonus reward
I think Mr. P will be a super rare but just op like when Rosa came out think of it, penny has a blue theme, carl is kinda blue, rico is blue, frank is purple, max is red, gene is red and matches the mysterious mythic theme, bea is mostly purple, etc. The only brawlers that don’t have something in common with their rarity is Piper, Pam, poco, primo, and the legendaries. Mr. P is blue and would fit in with the super rares.
Also the fact that the new brawler’s mechanics are too simple to be a legendary or mythic

I agree on the improved rewards for players who have already completed the trophy road. I am one of those players that has completed it, and still have 25 brawlers to max out. 1 Mega box is nice, but no where near what I need.
I have 30 brawlers and none are maxed. Most of them are level 7, a few level 8s and the new brawlers are all around level 4

Deadmemez Haha, imo robo mike is one of the best skins because of his goofiness (but that’s my preference) and the mike skin I use. I do think they should keep virus 8-bit at 300 gems tho, because he’s definitely one of the best value skins and putting him at 150 would make no sense. To make him 150 they’d have to remove the animation and the voice, and maybe even tone down the details on the skin. I think virus 8-bit is very deserving of 300 gems, and you should have to pay that much to own it

StewPac Making skins 300 gems skins 150 gems would be bad for Supercell’s revenue. It would discourage heavy spenders from buying expensive skins if everyone can just have same value or better for half the price they pay. The people who support the development of Supercell need to be rewarded with really good and *exclusive* skins to be able to “flex” and use. There’s a reason why the skins are priced how they are, and they should stay that way; there are many f2p friendly skins in the game, many of which are pretty good. But those top tier premium skins need to be reserved for the players who are willing and loyal enough to buy
I joined in August and had about 5900 trophies when 8-bit was released. I've now completed the trophy road. I think players that got 4k after Tick was released, 6k after 8-bit was released and 8k after Emz was released that have completed the trophy road exist. They would still only get 1 Mega Box, because it's assumed they also claimed the ones on the trophy road before those 3 brawlers were released. Not everyone that has finished the trophy road has been playing since beta!
For the trophy road talk: Well said Kairos I finished it and I still have lots more progression to go so a few more mega boxes will be soooooo helpful.

To what frank said I started a few weeks before sandy came out, and have almost completed the trophy road so I don’t necessarily think this is true speaking of some people play for long times at a time and haven’t played since day one so only getting one mega box isn’t really helpful also seeing I’m missing multiple people...

“Newer” players could also just stop at 1400 trophies and reap the new rewards if they haven’t reached it because apparently 13500 players are considered new to supercell, epic

I think they should add something that says the remaining time of Max's super since you activated it, like a bar. Otherwise I agree with most of the changes and I'm excited about the new environment. Maybe 8-bit skin looks a little too big (like the robo dynamike skin) and the right hand of Tara's skin go through her outfit. Bibi's skin is a 10/10 (but maybe her hair is a little to geometric... ).

I got the boxes b4 they turned into trophy road brawlers but I got to the end of the trophy road (just missing the last prize which is the gold) like a year after global release because the game came out for me on the global release day so I didn't get rewards for changes before it so I'm still missing out

I was really excited for the trophy road revamped since I am a free to play player at 15k trophies glad to hear that I’ll get Atleast 1 free mega box but from what frank said makes sense why we even get one. I feel tho even if we played the game earlier that just means we supported the game longer so why shouldn’t we be rewarded for that? It’s all a very confusing situation I hope there is a solution that meets midway.

So just from what I’ve seen, all of the brawlers had 1/5 for attach power. Which seems really weird for the brawlers shown. Is this the final product, or will it be adjusted to match, say the max damage from one full attack. I can see the attacks being low if you measure by one bullet, laser, etc. but even bibi being 1/5 seems off.

I agree 100% we long time players should be rewarded with more than just 1 mega box at the end of the trophy road. I am a free to play player and have been playing since 2018, and I still don’t have a maxed out account I need two more legendary brawlers and need to upgrade roughly 10 more brawlers to power 9 but I just don’t have the coins to do it so supercell needs to either give us more mega boxes or a bunch of coins

I played since 2018 as well and have begrudingly spent money on the game, mainly for skins, but i have bought about 10 megaboxes. My account still isnt maxed out and i need 2 legendaries and a mythic. I have completed the trophy road and i feel like 3 would be more than satisfactory for me
I'm loving that they are now putting color to the brawlers shots O though it still needs some work
Well this is what I get for specifically pushing the trophy road, that gold, star points and boxes could be very useful for me, considering I've been playing since the game went global and I still dont have a legendary, so I would be missing out on alot
(In response to the request for feedback): I’m really upset that they’re pulling takedown and lone star. I admit that they aren’t much fun to play, but to me it’s because the maps are far too big. You get killed on the way to the boss a few times and it sucks. With lone star just *finding* other players seems to be a nightmare. The solution (I think) is to make the maps smaller and/or add a duo mode. Very pleased to see a buff to max. Very excited about the new skins gonna buy all of em, it’s gonna be a lot of fun to flex. Looking forward to playing and maxing Mr. P and trying out hot zone. Little peeved about the boxes thing. Not much. But a little xD Thank you Kairos for the video and the update info!
I don't hate those game modes, but unlike solo/duo showdown, I only play it until I get the token. I think I remember Frank's explanation of this in his Twitter. There is really no incentive for you to keep on pushing your brawler in that game mode. Also, you only have a limited number of Brawlers you can use for those game modes, which won't be good if you're trying to push for trophies. You'd rather use SD or gem grab for that.
I really wanna make them implement trios or squads. I feel like it would be very fun, but the maps would have to be BIG and it would make it so action packed.

Supercell today: long time players collected star tokens from additional mode that will no longer be available. That's becouse new players will get 55 more boxes. Supercell tomorrow: so brawl stars has been there for over a year since a global launch. Since new players wont be able to colect tokens from before they started playing, we decided to extended trophy road for new players by 400*2=800 boxes. Old players should be happy about this becouse they've already collected these boxes, and they're still ahead due to daily deals and event tickets (don't worry, we will even this in future updates). If it doesn't seem enough for you, old players will be granted 600 free coins! Happy update everyone!

So @kairos if you need an example to give to Super Cell about Trophy Road Compensating here is my experience. I’ve been playing consistently since last Spring (luckily I downloaded the game Dec 18’ to get Star Shelly) I’m currently just under 15k trophies so I literally am just missing out on the extra Mega Boxes.... I am no where near max. I am missing 3 brawlers still (just got Spike) I have about 7-10 brawlers with at least 1 star power the others are around lvl 7, not nearly enough coins! So personally I’d like to receive something close to what the new trophy road provides.... (even tho the boxes at 4K, 6k, 8k are just moving back) the extra 1000 coins and power points are what I need... but not what you as a max account needs... you need to be able to open boxes for new brawlers.... so I think minimum 3 or up to 5 mega boxes should give me the coins/power points I’m basically losing out on. Plus as you said it’s not about what’s equal it’s about keeping us happy.
For me, when i finished the trophy road, it was very disappointing finding out most of the rewards were gold. I think supercell should reward the finishers of the trophy road with either Mega boxes, or star points. Both would be really helpful.
Star points should only be rewarded for being skilled at brawlers and their individual trophies, not just total trophies otherwise players with more brawlers get star points for no reason. And most F2P players (who are still progressing on trophy road) need gold and power points. As for Megaboxes supercell doesn't want to give new brawlers or gems because understandably that's how they make money and these awesome games

I think that supercell can give the players who have completed tropy road as a reward of 3 mega boxes it will be amazing for the players who havent maxed their accounts and lacking some brawlers then he/she can atleast have a chance.. Because lengendary brawlers are so hard to get cuz when i was at 3.6k tropies ( as a f2p) i got leon but now i am at 11k and still havent got another legendary and also missing two mythics

I'm f2p as well, but your comments abour it not being fair is a bit skewed. I have 15k trophies and was able to get those meat boxes, but you shouldn't whine over your ability not to climb. I'm not saying get good, but if you are gonna whine about you not being able to get something because you weren't committed what basis do you have to go off of?

I didnt get the mega boxes where tick, 8-bit and emz were and thats supercells only excuse for giving 1 mega box for finishing the trophy road. I want them to give the new rewards for players who haven’t gotten the mega boxes where tick,8-bit and emz were.

You forgot to mention the player base who have pushed trophies after the new trophy road brawlers had already come out. I personally started playing around when 8-bit got released, and was at 7k when emz dropped, but am at 14.6k now. Meaning I didn't get the 3 mega box compensation from trophy road brawler slots. Like so kairos can see so he can give supercell feedback!
Valentinas same! When I started playing, tick was already in the game. 8-bit got released when I was at 5400 trophies, and Emz when I was at 7100. So I just barely missed out on ALL of those rewards. Now I’m almost finished with trophy road, so I’ll miss out on most of the new rewards.

Well I missed beta mode, missed the 3 mega boxes as I climbed after they were released, and never really played takedown and lone star much as I always lost and never enjoyed the modes. I've been loyal to the game for 8 months, climbed to 14k trophies in that time and have missed all those good rewards. Spent over 20 bucks and still dont have any power 9s or 10s.
I completed trophy road up to 11k trophy, but I'm missing out on the extra rewards before 11k

About the Trophy Road: in my point of view it is understandable that somehow Supercell wants to help and incentivize new players to keep playing and eventually reach the top players in terms of account evolution by giving them extra rewards for progress. Every game needs to keep increasing its player base, which eventually adds to the whole community - and one of the major things that can attract more competitive players to keep playing is precisely the idea that "getting to the top, even starting late is totally doable (hard, because it should be challenging, but possible)". Extra rewards can definitely help with that. It happened with many other games (KoF Um Ol, WoW, MFF, to say some). The kicker is: "games also need to keep the existing player base", which means there should be a balance. And imo, Supercell reached this balance well enough. New players will earn a slightly better reward, but veterans will also receive something good (maybe an option to get a mega box or "some skin" would have done a better job? but anyway...). Hope I could add some to the discussion as a UX and Game designer :) Great job with the vids! Keep up the good work. (my store has kairos set up for collaboration there, btw) ;)
Im mostly excited for the trophey road change, but as a player who completed the trophey road, SuperCell should add more rewards to players who completed the trophey road! (More boxes, one mega!?,thats it!?,they sould add more to us!!!!)
They made it for not give to us a lot of gems because ppl will not pay for the skin... that's all about money
The problem with a longer trophy road is the engagement. Sure I get an extra 1k 2k to the trophy rewards. However supercell may lose a little bit of money from the extra rewards. Many players will also have maxed out atleast halfway. This benefits players barely and will only bring back players for atleast a month. Additions such as power play and the championship event are examples of additions that actually bring back players for a WHILE and more additions like those that are more permanent would be nice

Feeeldback challenge: I noticed that most people didn't understand how the tournament works including me, This way lots of people got a negative experience. I understanded how it worked when needing to play luckily, but the opponent who didn't play (and didn't want to play against us) gave themselves the win. We had to open a protest and tried fixing the problem so we could continue, it took really long, so I gave up and layed in bed with a headache (50 minutes after each other of trying to do something), than when most of the team was gone they helped us ( 1 hour later, so thought we were just out) and we were in again, but had to give the win because 2 of the 4 players where gone (including me). So make a video how it all works (now unclear instructions) and maybe better organized (it said Ingame notification, but we had to go in teamchat and make a friendly match are self (we learned that halfway, probably lots didn't. ).

I think the trophy road in BS can take a page out of CR trophy road Where the rewards go up as high as the top players and you can reap all the rewards again every season over a certain trophy count (say above 14.5k) as you progress through the season

I’ve already completed the trophy road and I don’t know about other people but I still need gold and power points. 1 mega box will help but it’s not the help I expected. Like holding a heavy bag with your 6 year old helping you by holding onto it as well. It helps but not by a lot or at all.

Ive been playing since it was released officially and i litterally got the newest trophy road brawlers 1 day after they were realeased which means that on paper i have like no rewards. THey should just let me recollect. Happened in Clash Royale too. Also, they need more spawners! (they have a lot but guys, spwaners are epic!)
