We should not forget the m3 still is on stock turbos only stage 2 with e30 compared to the v8 with upgraded turbos and stage 3. Still sick ass race 👌🏻
Yes a little unfair but don't we all love watching these battles regardless. An M5 with similar mods or an M3 with upgraded turbos would've been better for sure.

On carwow an m3 with 800hp did a 10.1 .. this m3 tune is trash
Alex with another win and STILL undefeated. Dan took it like a champ though. Watching him laugh as the RS passed him on the last race was great. He had to know the was slightly outgunned but still took a shot anyway.

Sorry brother a video of a car on the dyno then doing a 0-60 and revving is not how we measure cars as the quickest or fastest.. there’s a known faster RS7 yes but that’s not an RS6.

But rs6 is stage 3 with bigger turbo while m3 only has a chip downpipe and ethanol….. and also rs6 is audis top performance for bmw its not the m3 its m5 or m8…

I'm sure there's other G80 M3's with roughly similar power that would humble that M3. All down to how a car is tuned.

@bmwsincekid ethanol is the main thing here, if the car was on pump fuel it would be around 700bhp I'd say and the rs6 is on pump doing 900bhp. Not taking anything away from the g80 as the platform has massive potential but the rs6 is the winner here for me

Everyone commenting on the HP difference without considering that it's really the torque figures that matter on a 1/4 mile strip. The power to weight ratio shows in the 0-60 times, they're only 0.03 secs apart. Shows how good both cars are in real world driving. The audi quattro systems are legendary for a reason, but props to M division as it shows how good their newer xDrive setups are out the box. BMW were running iX cars in the E30's but just never stuck with it. But that M3 can haul though, with upgraded turbos and supporting mods to match it would be a different result no doubt.
Love Alex and his rs6! Need this rs6 to be gapping more cars 😅 always something but always gapping haha.

We throw around such crazy hp numbers in 2023. You could say 2500hp and I wouldn't even doubt it or blink.
Being much lighter than the Audi and In stock form the Bm murders a lot of cars makes me dought it's making 800hp, I hope the owner of the car watching 😊 £7000???

Certainly one of the best tuned RS Audi ever and when the driver knows what he's doing. As an audist I am even positively surprised. BMW wins quite often. Both cars are stunning.
The m3 was dynod the next day did not run its correct power like jamie says at the end it was under development, it was 100hp less would love to race again on the same platform
