@@johnbassett3188 it’s a pipe bender although this one is only big enough for small solid rods or brake/fuel lines/tubing. It’d be used for metal fabrication work. Like on custom cars, bend the rod to shape then skin it in sheet metal. Larger ones can bend exhaust tubing or thicker pipe for making roll cages, suspension components etc. it’s a useful tool to have in the automotive/welding field.

I was wondering where you were going with that, but that's a great invention.
That is a great idea!
When you see a person welding on to a bearing race, complete utter total moron,
Muito bom parceiro ..Parabéns pura criatividade
Muito bom , parabéns.
That's 8 minutes of my life I will never get back
Amen, I only made it to the 4th ad!
@@littlecreekbowclub5288 Ad Block. It works.
Just think you could of been scratching your ass while watching and then it would not of been a waste of your time..
Well, its probably not the first 8 minutes we have wasted. Wait till you retire....better yet NEVER retire and there is still plenty of time to fish, hunt or golf.
He wasted a lot more time than you.
Have to love the thought put into devising this.
Can’t speak your language but I love your work.
Thats an awesome tool build! I have no excuse now - must have a dozen laying around thanks!

Wow, that brake disc is severely grooved!
must be why it was replaced
Not bad. I've seen much worse. Some coming off my own cars and equipment.
@@kirkmcallister2150 Well, yes, you wouldn't get very good braking with such deep grooves, and your pads would wear out quickly!
That's a brilliant idea and great video. Thank you for sharing 👍
Usually these types of videos are long and tedious just to produce an item that can be bought commercially for much less than the time wasted to make an inferior item. This is very cool and something I would actually use!
The best DIY is the one that has you scratching your head going "wtf" until the end
Nice job! I really like these “don’t throw that screw” videos, and then they add a hundred more pieces and 50 hours of work to make a $20 chair.
I think it's very industrious and quite clever. Not many people think thus way!
Magnífico, saludos desde Tlaxcala México.
That was very awesome I wish I would have thought of that idea and someone else done it better than me a great job whoever done it keep up the marvelous work
Today's episode has been brought to you by the letter "S"
Funny
LOL LOL LOL
Do they have Sesame street in Russia?
And they don't even have one in Russian! They use a C
🤣🤣🤣
Well, the welding job isn't great, but it is a good idea.
The tack welds take longer than a single straight weld, hmm🤔
A third the way through, I went to the end. Glad I did..
boa noite amigo ótima ideia parabéns.
There is ingenious tool! You can bend the flat strips of metal to make the s shape for fences. Thank you
How many of y'all had no clue what the end product was going to be? That would be me....
Well........... it's not the rifle target I was hoping for.
I don't know about you, but after all that work I will probably need a week vacation. :)
Ingenioso y práctico a la vez . Felicidades.
I have something like that. Its called a tubing bender.
Yes but you had to buy it. All you have to buy here is bushings and bolts and a welder and welding rods.
Thanks for naming it, I just needed to know what we were trying to make!
I think this is the best homemade bender I've seen on KZhead,,, a wee bit over elaborate using a bearing thou, a simple pipe would do, with a spud on the handle
For a while there, I thought he was making something for his time machine.
For someone that seems to have good knowledge of tools/machining I was surprised to see him drill the steel at such a high speed. Tempering the steel as he drills. Always slow with steel. Leave heat out of it.
I didn't expect that outcome..great job, love it
Russos fazendo suas russices. Povo tão criativo e doido, quanto os brasileiros.
Muchas Gracias por compartir.Saludos desde el Norte de México.
Awesome and amazing craftmanship and inginuety, Kudos to you. Great idea
I was so confused as to what it would become 😂
Yeah... it can be hard to grasp the significance of any step when the outcome is nebulous. (Kind of like raising kids.)
Lol same
And still don't know what the hell it's used for other than bending crap for no purpose ?
Use It to hang planters on trees for bird seed or lanterns with citronella candles to ward off mosquitoes or to just say you have them for sale for campers. ? Have a lovely, happy sparkly day. 🙃🌹🌻🌹🐿🌰🐾🙃
Thomas Edison once said: "To invent things, you first need a big pile of junk". This guy proved it!
And an Arc welder with expertise comes in handy too!
@@axevictim7226 You don't really need a lot of expertise to weld like this. It's not shipbuilding, just a few minor tacks. Stick welders can be had for under $60 on eBay.
Well that was bc Edison was a TINKERER not INVENTOR..........
Sweet. Kudos to you and your creativity

thats the wierdest lug spacing Ive ever seen, what sort of car is that from?
Thedea - It appears to be from a Russian TRABANT.
It looked as if it was for multiple models, say a 4 lug car and a 5 lug truck on one rotor...
I can't think of all the times that I didn't need something like this.
good one!
Cool. They help for removing wheel bearings too.
