  • For those talking about turmeric---turmeric is activated by black pepper, meaning when you combine the two, pepper magnifies curcumin absorption, which is the beneficial part of Turmeric you want absorbed by your digestive system. It just requires a dash of black pepper to quadruple it's effectiveness.

  • If you want to make peeling garlic cloves easy -- do this: Break the clove apart into smaller cloves and put the small cloves into a bowl or cup of warm water. Let them sit for half a minute and then the skin on the cloves will slide right off. This is especially helpful when you buy a large quantity and want to freeze them. To dry the cloves just put them on a kitchen towel or paper towel then bag them for freezing. Easy peasy.

  • Perhaps a word of warning…for those who wish to take raw garlic with their glass of lemon juice to help prevent ‘garlic breath’, this can lead to irritation of the stomach’s lining with discomfort & sometimes nausea resulting. Raw garlic & it’s juice is quite strong, & an irritant to gastric lining for some people. Perhaps trial a small amount first to see any effect, before jumping straight in😊

  • Anytime lemon, or any citrus peel or zest is used, it's important to use organic lemons (or other citrus). The chemicals they are grown and shipped with absorb into the natural oils and pith in the rind. IT CANNOT BE WASHED OFF.

But if someone is using it regularly then it could have health consequences. Unfortunately even "organic" grown citrus is still often treated, so it's all about taking your chances. One day I'll grow my own miniature lemon tree. LOL

  • My hubby made this mixture after I sent him the video. We still have to let it sit longer, but we already started taking a spoonful each day, since the ingredients themselves are very healthy right from the start. With honey it is very easy to take and the taste doesn't bother me at all, but I am in general not sensitive to flavors that others might not like. We will keep this concoction as a staple in our kitchen. My Papa used to eat tons of fresh garlic on a slice of bread several times a week. The odor was horrendous all through his house, but I always believed in the healing power of garlic.

  • I have made this mixture and it is very good but seeing people cutting juicy lemons over a board, losing a lot of the juice drives me nuts. I cut the lemons, over a plate with a shallow rim, in four or six lengthwise sections to take out any seeds then I put them in my food processor to cut them up. As for the garlic (it can also be skinned in the food processor using the dough blade and short bursts) I cut off the root end which helps the skin to come off easily. One does the garlic part first, then the lemons, then I put both ingredients in a bowl and add the honey and stir lightly, then spoon the whole thing into a clean jar. I realize this is a bit more work but it saves the juice and using the food processor cuts down on the chopping (I have arthritis in my hands) If no food processor is available, one can still follow the video doing the chopping etc by hand but using a plate for the lemons and a bowl to mix the whole thing in or maybe even stirring the lemon and garlic in the jar before adding the honey. Doing it my way has saved me a lot of work and a lot of lemon juice. This mixture really works and is delicious. I hope I have helped someone.

    • Seriously, i'm a Christian and i agree with you but, why here? why on a post for liver cleanse? why be "that" person that makes us look like cult people and weirdos. Our goal is to bring everybody to Jesus in a way where they can do it willingly and happily, and by being the weirdo and posting randomly like this, doesn't really boast well for our people, and bringing in the rest of the world. So i beg you, act normal, post normal things, and if people are struggling, THEN offer help to them, pick them up, give them money, actually help them, THEN pray for them, and show Jesus like actions TO them, and usually, this kind of grace and love, will bring people to Christ because they saw it through us.. not posting like this on social media and looking like a cultist. I hope this helps fix a few things with your ministry style.

  • Use 2 seprate jars. One wide jar filled with layers of thinly slice lemon and ginger; cover each layer with a spoon of honey. Slices vs. chopping prevents from losing juice on wood board. Another jar is for Garlic slices/not chopping, cover with red grape wine vinegar. Use lemon honey in hot water and drink as a tea. Use pickled garlic clove every morning to start reducing fat residues/cholestrol in arteries. You can also eat it with salad or chicken or beef while eating lunch or dinner.

    • I could never really like the harsh bitterness of yellow grapefruits. The red ones are ok too me though, very nice as juice, especially when mixed with a little red orange juice. (I read somewhere that there is over 40 kinds of bitter taste. So you cannot enjoy them all, I guess. Things like coffee and beer are bitter in ways that I enjoy more.)

    • Yes! I find when I first get a tickle, if I act quickly with some combination from my "bag of defenses", I can stop almost anything in its tracks. I swear by my morning warm lemon water, Vitamins C, D, garlic, and zinc. I also add echinacea and a salt water "gargle" (very carefully so as not to further irritate the vocal cords) if need be. As a professional singer I simply cannot afford to be $ick!

    • @@Lorenzo-cp7qs No. Remember the initial vaccine (Pfizer) had 2 jabs that were weeks apart. Then we could get a "booster" 6-9 months later. I don't remember now how long between the first round and the booster. I didn't think I needed a second booster since my immune system seemed to be working amazingly even before Covid. And I give the daily warm lemon water I'd been doing for a couple years beforehand credit for that.
