Such a good game. Only thing I didnt like was they reuse the trolls to much. Other then that I thought it was great. I was worried when i seen the camera switch to a more souls like view and combat but it worked out. Definitely innovative!

True. In actual mythology hes probably the only god in norse mythology to ever care of killing somebody and experience wise the weakest god among the aesir. Though it is still true he is the hardest to kill among them.
Let's be a little honest, GOW 4 kinda had less unique bosses but more unique natural enemies.

The bosses of this game have a simple reusable formula that never gets old for me. In all honesty if the boss formula wasn't so good this game wouldn't be a 10/10 for me

The first time I brought one of the stones down on a trolls head, I put my controller down laughing and said holy fuckin shit dude to my dog laying next to me. GoW has always been awesome, and of course, the uniquely brutal finishers are a huge part of the apeal. But these last two (GoW and GoW Raganarok) make my top ten games of all time list. Santa Monica Studios really sat up in bed and decided to be a world class contender of a developers team.

The thing i miss about ps2 gow is ps2 version had controls in boss fight even when the scene is in cinematic mode where u suddenly have to press a button showed on the screen or quick press L1 R1 alternatively or rotating the R analog to either clockwise or anticlockwise as shown and etc..this technique of gameplay was missing in gow4..and plus bosses in ps2 were of many different characters..overall i still liked playing gow4 bcoz for the love of this franchise..best adventure game with best storyline ever

I have not played this GOW, but I noticed watching some videos on youtube that something has changed, among them, the reduction of the strength of the ghost of Sparta. Besides, Kratos no longer has the fury of the gods, a skill that made him temporarily invincible.... Now he doesn't even look like a god anymore, he doesn't have the powers he's accumulated in previous games in the series. I don't really see this reduction in Kratos' power as something bad. It actually adds a bigger challenge to the player... But that's strange to see him in a more human context that I can't deny the only explanation that comes to mind is that I think they wanted to make a game more realistic, so there was no way to leave the superpowerful character, giving giant jumps, dash in the air and other typical things of hack and slash (dmc, bayonetta, shinobi, ninja gaiden, etc.) this also affects the "cinematic" part, because it would be incoherent for a "common" character to fly off the enemy using the chains there, just like the kratos did in the first few games.
Kratos is trying to stop his child from going down the same path he did 😢
