This video shows all episodes of Titan Cronos Story in God of War, God of War 2 & God of War 3. Cronos, was the leader and last of the mighty Titans who were born to Gaia and Ouranos. He fathered the first of the Olympians with his wife Rhea. He fought in the Titanomachy where he was overthrown by his son Zeus. His punishment by Zeus after the battle was to forever carry Pandora's Temple on his back in chains. He is a minor character in God of War, a minor ally in God of War II and a major antagonist in God of War III.

I like how Cronos is so passive in God of War 1 he's like oh Kratos just passed by to go to the temple. And then suddenly in God of War 3 he is so active and fast.
His soul was taken by Hades which made him a slave to the gods but after kratos killed hades in GOW3, all the trapped souls are freed including the soul of Cronos. That's why he is so active.

I know this is a pretty small detail but I love how Cronos’ music theme stays consistent as it was in gow 1 and it gets even more intense as the fight goes on
I never even realised that his boss OST was just an extended version of his theme that they used in GoW 2 until I replayed the game lmao.

Can we take a moment to realize the sheer amount of pain for Cronus to be in that he can't find kratos climbing up him with blades? I mean the open wounds are bad enough but for him to only realize where he is when he breaks huge cysts is kinda worrying, not only that but the wounds inflicted by those cuffs when it spun was just painful to look at.

For those that keep asking/commenting about the birth of Zeus...Greek Gods have the ability to change the size of their body as well as a good majority of them being able to shape shift to other animals, humans, creatures, and non-living objects. Also, for those wondering why Cronos didn't help Atlas...he was already fatigued from battle and the previous attack left him too weak to help. (Also, he prob doesn't care by way of his nature but knows that wartime isn't the place to be emotional towards vices and ambition.) The cave scene was a time-skip to show he had aged up. Baby Zeus didn't walk in and immediately turn around by becoming an adult only a few moments later. The rock/baby switch scene is just to set the mood. Of course Cronos isn't going to see the eagle flying baby Zeus away.

It felt so satisfying that we get a proper battle with Chronos in GOW3. I remember seeing him in the first game, all I could think was "can you imagine having to battle a boss THAT big? He could just squish you under two fingers!" Lo and behold
I like the new God of war but seriously the old one we used to know has something very special I really missed it so much
I really miss the size, scope and interesting gameplay of the many unique boss battles. U get the dragon fight in the new one but that was about it

Interesting how Kratos supposedly spent days climbing Cronos to get to Pandora's Temple, but in GoW 3 you see him zooming up and down the entirety of the titan in seconds.
