I just got this keyboard on clarence. From my experience these are totally worth it the $100. The stability smoothness and lack of ping is very close to a lubed and sound dampened board. At the Price of 100 bucks, it is well worth it over budget boards or any board around $100 bucks. I really think these cherry speeds low profile are underrated. Matter in fact the cherry low profile feel lots better than other cherry switches. They are a little scratchy but nothing complain about.
The keyboard is very well made in my opinion as well! I just think they could have added some more details for 100 bucks like wireless features or even guidelines on the bottom for rerouting options. Cherry mx keys feel great but for me they were too sensitive! I would be placing my hand on top of the keyboard and even with minimum force, it would be triggered…
I bought mine on clearance for $20. I thought that price was odd so I bought it.(Walmart clearance) I was totally Impressed. I love the RGB color options. The typing experience was great and the key travel was excellent for the purposes I plan on using for. I don't game but I type like a monster on crack for essays I research. Most my work is done at night so its great to have the backlit keys and the patterns It has is a bonus! The packaging was perfect as I loved the minimalistic packaging It came with.... Less trash to deal with and less for recycling(better for our planet). Overall for $20 I more than impressed...
i realy like this video! helps me a lot. thanks from germany
Nicely done! I can't decide on Steelseries Apex 3 whisper- quiet switch vs Corsair K60 low profile. Both are quiet but I don't like the apex's rgb lighting technique...its too overwhelming. Which one would you choose?
True! Cause Apex 3 has zone rgb type as corsair is per key. If you really want the best customizable rgb but want to stay within the budget corsair k60 and 55 should be good! Just keep in mind that k60 was a bit too responsive for me.
@@uptechkr Thanks for the reply. Fingers crossed that the Corsair not gonna be a faulty unit. Also as keyboard I've had redragon dyaus 2, a budget membrane. I love everything on that except the rgb, its to bright at night(like apex 3 would be, except it lights on the sides too). Was thinking to buy another one like that and duct tape the sides of it 😂
@@MrKellene duct tape nice backup plan😂 i personally have no experience with redragon but will definitely try it out later! Corsair does two things right honestly: RGB and Being Solid! Hardly disappoints
Im gonna make a review on razer's cynosa as well! Its under 50 bucks and has per key rgb so you should check it out! Thanks for the support!!
@@uptechkr Im looking for it! That might be noiser and uncomfortably high to use without a wrist support, but Im gonna wait what you gonna say about it! : D
You've convinced me my guy. Always remember rule #1: Boss up
Interesting that you mentioned defective boards. I actually bought two of them and the "1" key on the first one quit working after about a week. Tried replacing the switch and that did not fix it.
Is there any way to set individual constant color for each key? Say, all"F" keys light up white, all number keys light up green, all letter keys light up red and so on. I have one of these and also GMMK Glorious Full Size. Can't figure that out for either board.
Its possible through icue, hold ctrl and click which key for what solid color
i own the se pro. its really not that bad. the only issue i had at first was the stiffness of the keys. However after you use it more the keys become less stiff. the switches are amazing for night gaming or typing if you have roommates. i give it a 7/10.
7/10 seems just right!! Thanks for sharing!
Have you expeienced repeating letters on the keyboard? That you type one letter, and it doubles and even triples it?
$51 at indonesian market. Is it worth now?
The box graphics are being used by corsair for all of their products, it maintains a standard look for everything, I feel it keeps an identity, for me is a good thing
Is it worth it
Comming from a steelseries Apex M800, the Corsair K60 is so much better. - the key caps down break just by removing them (m800 ones did) - iCue software is so much superior than the steelseries one, so much lightting opntions and you can add multiple effects of same key - simple design is a plus for me - i dont care how the fk the box looks, i throw that away anyway…
I have the m800 and it's too loud. Is the k60 quieter?
bought this last year for about 89€ its definitely worth the price
Maybe I did missed something... But what do the box the keyboard comes in have to with the quallity of the product. Getting dissapointed over the box is just small minded. And yes, an attached cable work just a good as any other cable. Most pepole dont change their keyboard everyday.
K55 vs k60 which you prefer?
Man~! I would personally have to go with k60 cause they got both per key rgb and cherry mx keys. Cherry mx keys are not my favorite but they are better than membrane. The only downside would be the price… you would buy two k55s for one k60 low profile
Jeebus, don't give up your day-job!
just bought it for 35 bucks on cyber monday so i think it worth it o.o
I wish they sell this same model in tkl. I tested an asus rog strix brown switches, loud as hell. My Logitech pro x feels like garbage next to this Corsair 🥲. Payed much less for the Corsair in Walmart (45$). is really silent and my wrist is better with low profile.
The best feature in this keyboard i think is the key response. It is a bit too sensitive but overall it's great!
just picked this up for $43 on amazon! Used- Like new
Man why didn't your video come up on my earlier search 🤬 I just bought one. Got 200$ worth of bestbuy gift cards for 5 years working for same company. Wasn't gonna cheap out for once, then see this for 60$. I checked k50,70's watched 2 or 3 vids. Think about it for two days. I'M SORRY TOO ANNOUNCE, it never even made it through one game of WOT. My tank would turn right randomly and no was not touching the key. Then Left shift died. As I write this I think of the road ahead with Corsair's return policy will be like 😔. Sorry for my rant guess I will go plug in my trusted crap 20$ not so E-waste keyboard.
I got renewed for only 35
Bought one for gaming but almost new and 50 dollar
Who cares about detachable cable for a static placed keyboard? how many time are you planning on disconnecting it? You basically rated a great keyboard a 6 because you you don't like the price then compare it to other keyboards that are not low profile (Razr) or can cost double (Logitech)..... Is this keyboard perfect... No but it is definitely worth the price tag even at $100, at the time of this comment it is selling between $50-60.
its going for 40 atm lol
seems like a good keyboard if you arent a hardcore gamer and all and he is comparing this keyboard to ones that are hundreds and not worth it.
@@GalaxieBS I find that low profile switches are so much better than full range switches especially for typing. The low travel distance just feels natural. The only thing i don't like about Corsair keyboards in general is that they don't an on board memory chip for RGB so you have to run their software for you RGB setting to work. I have much cheaper generic brand keyboards that provide this feature.
I've had one of these for over a year with no issues. So everything that you're complaining about is really irrelevant.. 🤷♂️
And the space bar doesn't last long
Hmm didn’t know about that!! Thanks for sharing!
Weird review. You don't like mechanical keyboards, but bought one. You don't like the box it came in. You heard that they have a lot of defects, but bought one, and didn't have a problem. Most of the review is about setting up the RGB.
I've bad experiences with this keyboard despite it being my best yet, I've had to return 2 of them because they both have had critical errors, the first time it started ignoring my typing and typing completely random stuff at light speed by itself, the second time the windows key stopped working. The way corsair has made their keyboards im not sure I could use any other brand, but if the only one I can afford keeps having problems that force me to get a new one, I might have too.
wow... it seems like you are having quite a dilemma right there!! I am not sure as to why, but lately I have been hearing that there were a lot of bad responses about Corsair's gaming peripherals. From then on, I switched over to Razer and honestly, they are good!
