This song *"Santa Claus Is Coming to Town*" is BLASPHEMOUS because in this song especially in the following paragraph they are ascribing the qualities "OMNIPOTENCE ( all powerful) OMNISCIENCE ( all knowing & OMNIPRESENCE ( present everywhere)" to a mythical human. These qualities that are exclusive to GOD only. *He sees you* when you're sleeping And *he knows* when you're awake *He knows if you've been bad or good* So be good for goodness sake The song also implies that Santa *is able* (powerful enough) *to give all good children good gifts to all good children* . This is clearly contradicting the following verse; *Every good gift and every perfect gift* is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning. James 1:17 This song is exhorting people especially children to expect gifts from a mythical human *not from GOD.* This is BLASPHEMY i e. *the crime of assuming to oneself or to another person the rights or qualities of God.*
