    • Its a great mentality if you got your defensive game right. If you box, next time hitting the pads, think about punching through a man and you feel like you've just leveled up 🤣 Then try to Be fast too and That'd Be The Challenge. We have "fight club" with local biker gang members and its so primitive and scary you always feel like Its survival of the fittest. And IT IS. I dont know If we are good but we are all on shape and fight on 2 "weight classes", small and big kinda. +100kg and -80kg lets say. I have already broke my both wrists and some ribs during these years. Glad I found guys with same interest. But I'm not into criminal stuff so I just fight and go to gym with them. Mutual respect has been built via fights, fair and square. No bullets.

  • Tyson's fights were not just fights, they were an event that stopped the sporting world. Everyone had to watch. I remember growing up my dad and his friends would come over the house and it was a party before during and after. Loved his fights because I knew it was going to be a good time. The fights didnt last very long, but damn was it fun watching those 3 to 6 minutes of action.

    • I don’t think any honest hardcore boxing fan would disagree with that. Tyson is a complicated fighter to describe. He was briefly as good as any fighter ever, yet not the greatest due to the briefness. He was only as good as the company he kept. It was the biggest waste of potential in boxing history. Even after he came out of prison and was able to re-obtain the title he was visibly slower, more awkward, and less agile. On Tysons best night he probably could’ve beaten Ali. On his worst he probably could’ve lost to my grandma.

  • 8 second fight. Tyson literally had just enough time to walk across the ring, throw a single punch, OVER. And he did this a hand full of times. Many of his fights were less than 1 min. Almost all of them didn't go past the first round. Mike Tyson was on another level than all other fighters before him, and after. Even now with him not in fighting shape, and older, I would not want to fight him. If fighters didn't wear gloves, Tyson would kill with a punch.

There is a fight of Mike where he did the sneaky punch, punch to the liver and an instant blow into the face. Dudes face got smashed so hard he immiately gave up and stepped off the ring even tho his team and trainers wanted to go fight more. That evening he was in a hospital on a hard operation on his fractured skull. If he didn't go to ER he would die the next day.

To be honest I learned the definition of the Juggernaut because my dad took me to a thrift store when I was 3 or 4 and there was a book that had a picture that I thought was really cool of a sunken ship and the title of the book was Juggernaut.
