    • @@JetFalcon710 After watching the clip dozens of times over the years, this is the only conclusion I can come to. He was too focused on his time that he simply didn't apply enough brake/said brake immediately after the finish line. It wasn't until you see the fear in his eyes that you know he's realized this mistake far too late.

      @1337bG01@1337bG01 Жыл бұрын
    • @@1337bG01 well the thing is, if you think about braking after the finish line, you brake just before the finish line and lose some time - but to keep going, to still be in race mode, it takes some time to adjust after the line - unfortunately he was so fast that realising didn’t leave him enough time to brake (and you can’t brake as you’re cornering of course or it spins the car), so by the moment of realisation, in order to get the time the guys pressured him to do (not their fault) the speed at the line that he probably hadn’t kept the rest of the day, he was doomed

I think it brilliantly shows their bond as a team, as they've mentioned that the reason the rest of the team always left the one that broke down during their trips behind was because they believe so long as the others carry on, the team carries on, and in that way, everybody no matter what, gets to finish their adventure together.
