@Braden Houser no chance Buck gives up his big time paychecks to host Jeopardy, much the same as any of the broadcasters. Producers won't bring back Oz because that would kill the show. Rodgers has a few years of football left, and they can't hold the spot that long. I would hope for Bialik or Lavar.

Anderson Cooper did a lot of appearance back then when he was a celebrity guest on Jeopardy. The first one he did when did power players week in 2004, then again in 2010 for the million dollar celebrity invitational and then he did power players for the last 2 times both in 2012 and in 2016 and now I can’t wait what Anderson Cooper to experience what a guest host look like on Jeopardy.
I loved how he expressed what most of us feel about Alex.

Think of your favorite tv show what whatever era. Now imagine them changing the cast every week. That's what this feels like to me. Alex was welcomed into everyone's home. That is an invested relationship with decades' long viewers. I don't want to welcome all these guest hosts into my home for what was until recently my regular family routine.

I've been a Jeopardy fan for decades, but if anything is going to make me stop watching it's this endless parade of guest hosts. It seems like the show has moved away from focusing on answers and questions and is now more concerned with the host.

I watched Anderson Cooper host Jeopardy today and I thought he did a great job. He has a calm, non-intrusive manner, a pleasant speaking voice, the ability to quip with the contestants, and he keeps the game moving smoothly, all things Alex did. I found that Alex's absence wasn't quite so conspicuous, which is a testament to Anderson's hosting style. I'm looking forward to the rest of his time on the show. I was also exited to hear that Levar Burton will be hosting, too. I was really hoping he'd get a turn in the rotation. I'm very much looking forward to that, too.

You need to remember that “liberal” and “conservative” are worldwide terms and not everything is about American politics. However, at the same time, his views almost always aligned liberally. All I’m saying is his views align a lot more with Anderson Cooper and Katie Couric than you think.
Loved seeing the episodes on utube 1day after it aired. The nightly episodes of Jeopardy stopped being on utube as of Aaron’s 2nd week as a co-host and now now episodes with Anderson Cooper. Why??? Please bring jeopardy back to utube ASAP.

I came in without seeing who was hosting & thought it was a rerun, cooper sounds alot like Alex, i think he should take over the job , my opinion.
Well, I thought Anderson did a good job on his debut appearance, then Tuesday night the remainder of the episode got preempted because of the Derek Chauvin trial, Wednesday, I was disappointed in him when he dismissed a contestant in the red, Thursday he did a good job and Friday he also did a good job and what else do I have to say, it doesn't matter who hosts the show, what matters is Jeopardy! is not off the air and I LOVE Jeopardy!, I really do!

As much as I dislike modern "journalists", I very much enjoyed Anderson's stint as guest host. He was relaxed & had a great combination of tempo, personality & humor. He also didn't over use "What we were looking for" which really bugs me for some reason. 🤷
