Yes I would. It blows the brio 4K out of the water (I have 2 brio currently) and is only a few bucks more at that price point.

I'm so sad I didn't get this when it came out. I bought one two weeks ago and it was a dud and I found out that over the past year or so people have been getting random unnecessary issues with this thing. Ironically I'll be getting a Brio 4K in its place lol

No i wouldn’t buy this camera, i will buy elgato facecam pro and you made me make this choice, so maybe razer would ask to give them back the money as they should 😂

Use usb 3.0 ports or above
you can get a DSLR/mirrorless camera for cheaper LOL....also gonna be 4k60 most likely

Naa you can get a good 1080p webcam for less than half that. Who needs to see their own face at 60fps anyway -.-
@@cartinesian for a webcam... Why would you want to push 4kb pixels for a webcam, when you'll probably only ever use it in windowed mode? Even on a 4k display. I personally would not have any uses for it, and think it's too expensive.
@@cartinesian sure, but the question was: would you buy one. They could make an 8k 120hz analog zoom webcam for two thousands dollars, I'm sure it'd be awesome, but i wouldn't buy one of those either.
@@cartinesian I work at microcenter. There is a 4k webcam for 60 bucks. Get that with the huge beautiful ring light kit and it'll look better than this, we've tested it. Lighting is more important than an expensive silly webcam.
@@Vancha112 Back to your question, yes, I would buy it. But not for the resolution, no. I'd buy it for that sensor, because of its size and the depth of field it can provide.
@@freddy2nt what else would you use a webcam sensor for other than webcam stuff. Would that be any good as a camera? I would expect you could almost get a real camera for that price, that would make sense as a webcam :o
