For y’all tryna upgrade the diff on an IS250, try getting the LSD from BRZ/FRS/86, I’ve read somewhere that the pumpkin is the same size and it should work. Thinking of doing that as a future mod

Rezi Kobakhidze toyota frs LSD will fit perfectly it only costs 400-500 n u can do it yourself i had to change mine on my 350 an i didn’t wanna pay 1,000-1,500 for the OEM one so i bought a Subaru BRZ LSD on ebay an that shit works a lot better than the OEM one

How is the shifting in your is250? is the buttery smooth? Ive been planning to get a manual in the future and I read that 1st and 2nd gear kind of has problems is that true to your experience with it?
isaac xiong wouldn't say it's buttery smooth. Not the best gearbox I've driven. Flywheel is super heavy. And yes 1st and 2nd will have to take some getting use to. Planning to change out the synchros soon here and install the Lexus short shifter. Other manual is250 owners say it's night and day difference.

Are they easy to fit? I have an 2007.
bassicuk1986 yeah you just have to trim down the headlight bracket. I got the 100% mod where the LEDs stay bright with my low beams on or off. They are really bright.
How much did you pay total? I wanted to get some but they're like $3,000 for a pair

Great exhaust sound, but from the way the car drifts it's pretty obvious it's underpowered.....it'd drift better if tye engine gets extra power.

@@raybarrera1997 i've exhausted more sets of tires than amounts of times i've had to change the oil in the last 3 years and it hasn't been in the shop once except for the end of my warranty which was 2 weeks ago. 0 damage.

m b yeah it's a little harder to so. I'm able to clutch kick the rear end out.
It’s possible in first gear with power mode on and doing the pedal dance to fully disable traction control

How is the steering response and feel in these? I'm used to older Hondas and Acuras. I have a 2011 Kia Optima amd hate the feel. It has too much wobble to it and I'm looking for an alternative for a replacement!
I feel it's very responsive. It's not loose and has a tight feel
@@pakman50 Thanks! I drove a 2012. IS250 AWD and loved it! It was a litrle down on power, but I hope it was just the AWD slowing it down.... I hear in 2008 the steering was updated. What year is your IS250?
@@midnightmystery544 Yeah the awd's are a little slower because of the weight I believe. IS250's aren't fast cars but they are fun. I have a 6spd manual and they definitely feel more torquey than the autos. I

Yeah, the flywheel on these manuals are 62lbs. Super heavy.

Jack Martindale removed the stock axleback and got new pipes custom made and got a magnaflow magnapack resonator installed. I'm really happy with how the car sounds.
