No... bad idea. You can get hurt badly by having a spotter "take the weight" either bail when you fail or use spotter arms. I've seen too much fuckery with using side spotters and using a back spotter puts both of you in some serious danger.
@nathaniellaw33244 ай бұрын
Deff just use the spotter racks. They are designed to catch the weight if you fail. Most people I see set them so low that they become useless, or even worse take them off. I adjust them every time so they are just below my squat depth. If I fail the bar lands on them as I go and not on me, or a person behind me thinking they can help me with a 500lb bar on my back. That being said if you don't have spotter arms, two people on both sides of the ends of the bars can actually help if you start to fail, also usually someone is also behind like the second guy in this video. They do this Power lifting Competitions a lot. Someone behind the squatter only could lead to the squatter getting hurt as they might have trouble bailing, or the person trying to guide them up if the bar falls back onto them.

Exactly 💯
@jessicaheger1880 hi I was lucky I the 70s. I taught by a teacher whose friend used to train the British Olympics.
No... bad idea. You can get hurt badly by having a spotter "take the weight" either bail when you fail or use spotter arms. I've seen too much fuckery with using side spotters and using a back spotter puts both of you in some serious danger.

Love it! Unfortunately, I’ll never be able to squat again :(
That testostrone level was thru the roof
Feel like maintaining that tightness is going to be an initial challenge for me. I can do it, but while I lift? Not so good at that yet.
Bro's struggling for life... Please don't judge his form💀🙏🏻
And that back was anything but straight
Bro that hurt my back! good for him he pulled it off!😮💨🙏👏
I feel so bad for the dude, getting stared at by those gym creeps...
thought he was mad ego lifting looking for multiple injuries, till i saw how easily those plates flew up
Technique aside, the most serious issue is it did not seem he had anyone spotting. Now, it was a crap load of weight.
After Justyn Vicky I’m so glad he had safety bars and no spotter.
The second (demonstration) squat was satisfying to watch
My back started hurting just watching this video.
Hernia: I’m coming Babe 😂😂😂
Looked like a potentially dangerous injury with that form and start! Glad he’s ok!
Every step he took with those socks had me ready to die from cardiac arrest, exhausting to watch that..
He seriously force his body to impress a girl, imagine if he can using that ability to developing his country.
I have to say, if I'm squatting and my wife is watching, I somehow get a massive strength boost.
Nothing like bumper plates....😂
