Edd really wanted to have the pool ready in time for Christmas , but it wasn't possible however with this video even I realised how far we have come ...

Each day we are One step closer to finishing the work @Our Passion Project and we were almost there well maybe 3/4 months out or a bit more
No one said a Diy was easy but when you love doing things yourself no matter how hard it is it doesn't matter
Bit by bit things are taking shape and there is more and more progress

One of all the Chateau documentaries that I really enjoy following....my goodness....compared to some other ones....Anna is a born lady.... a beautiful person....and Ed is such a hard worker....he is able to turn his hand to everything.....their channel is a perfect example of how things should be if restoring a chateau.....such lovely, genuine people....and wonderful parents to their gorgeous children.....
I wish I could make a ring tone that says “It’s beautiful” in Ana’s wonderful voice.
JC… totally agree! and tasteful without all the superfluous clutter of other chateaus… which could be mistaken for auction rooms… less is more every time…

This video is the first I've heard of you. I came across the life of Ryan a few days ago, so I assume web analytics are at work. I really like what you've done to date. You've modernised without butchering the old. Well done. Mixing modern spotlights with chandeliers is great. It's a continuation of the 1874 upgrade. Same with the bathrooms. The past is evident and loved but not made overly precious. A homely house, not a museum. Well done. I don't know the circumstances that others mention hoping you don't sell. I would hope that after so much invested effort you get to live in it when completed.
Wow! The bath for the pool.. you can put a dry steam sauna in there if you wanted to.
Both of you have a gift for blending old and new together to make beautiful rooms. Your color, furniture, and style choices work well together. You complement each other perfectly.

Pleeeeease try lighting up the stained glass interior of the desk top cabinet....it has green and red glass just like above your window in that room...Before you move it away light it up to see if it wasn't a great match up actually.⁰ pleeeeease.even if you just test it with your phone light to get an idea...If I'm right it's going to be beautiful.

Anna your decorating style is lovely and can’t wait for it to be finished and fully ‘dressed’ to show it to perfection with all the garden area done and the pool surrounds finished. Dining room mirror would look amazing if gold foiled or white. The contrast to the fire place and red walls the brown is just a heavy frame. The sun room with the glass wall will be wonderfull and the bright white room with the coloured glass doors is lovely. Enjoy
Amazing progress, thought….using soft gold walls in dining room would have set off the drapes much nicer., and gold leafing the mirror. But over all, I like that it’s a nice size home. Merry 🎄

Wow love the red paint. The mirror you could do some gold at the bottom where I think I see some carving. Maybe some drapes at the top of the curtains. Love the furniture very much. Very good taste!! Wow a movie room!! I agree on not caring about a back yard. One yard is suffice. Can concentrate on it better. Beautiful furniture and really good taste. You shouldn't sell.

I'm in love with the en suite that has the soaker tub! The tile floor is awesome 😎 I have one of those little squat American bathtubs; it sucks. Nothing beats a soaker tub!!

Edd you have such an attention to detail. I understand your obsession, to get the price you want to, you must have everything in impeccable order. Keep being a perfectionist one day it will be done and you’ll be able to start all over again. Sorry, I am an old women with dated things in her home. My husband says we need to replace the carpet-and I reply oh but I like my carpet and then later I look at them and and notice how dingy it looks. Bless you it’s refreshing to hear you about the details of your work.

I used to get confused about left hand and right hand, as well. A friend of mine taught me a nifty trick - put both hands up, palms facing out. Make an “L” with each hand, using just the index fingers and thumbs, of each hand. The one that actually looks like an “L” is your left hand. 😄

I think those ceiling windows were to let the hot air out the upper floor and pull cool air in on the first floor, in the living area. My guess is that they were placed to make use of whatever prevailing winds are in that location in all seasons, maybe also for passive solar benefits as well. It’s awesome to have sunlight and privacy.
I love the juxtaposition of the modern bathrooms with the period bedrooms. This home will be magnificent-it already is, really.

The drapes are gorgeous, the print is just too small for such a bold room. I love the mirror! The light grey looks beautiful. I couldn’t picture it, but now I see, we’ll done. I absolutely love the paneled bed, Stephanie had a great idea on the color change. I never enjoyed antiques until I found Stephanie’s channel. Now I’m obsessed! American antiques don’t thrill me. I have a feeling I’d be in a Brocante at least once a week 🤣🤣🤣 and broke! You both have done such a beautiful job on this manor. It’s actually incredible how much you’ve done. I’m so blown away. I’ve been bingeing for 2 days now! I started losing my eyesight 16yrs ago. Im blind in one eye, and had multiple surgeries to give my left eye some decent sight. I just broke my wrist, so I’m recovering ❤️🩹 and enjoying the down time. So glad I found your channel, your a wonderful family and I enjoy watching what you share with us. Thank you.
