*NEW 7 series is absolutely amazing !!!!*
When I was shopping for cars I put in a 128 Gb USB in a 7 series to listen to some MP3 files. Within few seconds it crashed the entertainment system and restarted w/o recognizing the USB drive. I thanked the sales person and I completed the test drive right there before pushing the gas. Then I went to AUDI to do a more harsher test. I put in 2 USB's (128 Gb and 64 Gb) few seconds apart. It managed to read them both in a minute or so then played many formats from each USB. That my friend is quality. I ended up with a A8L and I am not sorry about it.
does the A8 have 18" tyres (non-runflat), Mercedes 19" and BmW 20"? I don't know if that is a fair comparison regarding Ride quality, just my 2 cents.

Very, very subjective evaluations. I will stick with my 7 after bad experiences with 2 S classes in a row. Never had an Audi though.

With the new beamer instrument cluster I found myself looking at that more than the actual HUD. There is something really mesmerizing about it. I really think its a really interesting design.

The BMW is always placed smack dab in the middle of the other 2 because it's just a damn nice looking beautiful car! When I had my heart set on buying an Audi A8L, I changed my mind and decided that I wanted a Mercedes. I test drove the Mercedes and the ride was just blah! So, I walked to the BMW dealership next to the Mercedes dealership just to look around. When I test drove that BMW, I was all smiles the entire test drive!😁😁 That BMW is now in my garage and I'm still smiling!😁😁
Simikar story.... I got the a7 cuz it was such a unique looking car but the driving experience was completely forgettable. I drove my sisters Mercedes and was glad I didn't own one. I had an old 5 series before the audi and I missed it every time I stepped into the audi. I'm back with with bmw with the 7 series and my life is made! 🙂

When left out in the cold of winter, does anyone have experience with response times on the Audi climate control LCD? I'm guessing it won't work like all LCD when it's below freezing
Audi any day, they have come an extremely long way to get where they are and frankly the only brand from the 3 here that produce great looking cars on a consistent basis, perfect blend of everything

I think your valuation of the ride quality was affected by the rim size- to me it seems the rim sizes are A8 < S < 7, which correlates with your judgement.

Totally get why bmw wanted to make the grille so big. It kind of makes S class’s front end look less impressive, less important, less grand. I think that’s what the effect they were trying to go for, and succeeded.

Why so biased to Audi?. BMW comes top on tech and features, best air suspension, low maintenance cost, robust and good built quality, has a hybrid and still falls to the bottom. Why? For the big grills?... Thats ridiculous, grills are a bit big I agree, but they're ok on total. They add a bold stance to the car. By the way, I choose the 7 and the S to be the best

Well, in fact I really liked the new 7 Series grill, instead of the old one. It gave BMW's car a more imponent look, which is important for this class of luxury limo. It is important to highlight, however, that the current generation of the S-Class was launched in 2013! Ok, it has gained a facelift and some improvements a few years ago, but it is still a 2013 car/project, different from its rivals.

I realised on humps the sclass is the most comfortable... audi seemed slightly stiffer... bmw I'm yet to drive/be driven in... the audi seems more comfortable on low speeds due to wider tyres my opinion..
How does the Kia K900 compare to these three at a substantial savings?
LS500 is also more value oriented while still offering comparable prestige.

The way I test the boot space. I see how many people (4) fit in the boot if we all fit it’s big enough. I do this every motershow and people that don’t know we do this every year think where absolutely insane but last year a group of teens walked by and one of em said look (4 giants in a boot) yep that really happened

European 1 Some people actually hate its front end. But I agree with you: I’m a huge S Class fan for a long time and has it on my wishlist - but this 7 really starting to look kick ass! Has more of a Bad boy characteristics now, which is interesting.

It is strange that UK get 63 AMG instead of 63 4Matic +L. That's around 1 second difference between these two in 0-60 time.

All of these 3 brands and their respective model design teams have got my respect from the depth if heart. It is very difficult to choose one from these three as all of them are loaded with tons of advanced technological features and safety equipment along with comfort, utility, luxury, & most of all performance so in the end I would say only in my opinion that if given a choice I shall choose Audi A8L (not to disrespect or diss the other two cars on anyway, just the expression of opinion) because of watching a detailed documentary about A8L's design to completion, I have to say the A8L has really really impressed me and my comments are beyond encouraging & Spectacular effort from the design chief and all of his/her teams in each and every aspect. Thumbs up and Respect to Audi, Mercedes-Benz, & BMW. 👍 ☺

No wonder the A8 has the best ride in this test. Look closely and you can see that its riding on much smaller wheels and higher profile tyres than the other two! Naughty that this wasn't pointed out

I just traded my a8 for the 2020 750 and I’ve never been happier. I love Audi but I wish they had the new a8 in bigger engine that was the deal breaker for me . Finally the new bmw has updated all the technology that was always my problem with bmw had a 2004 545 didn’t even have navigation.

The R&D on the new cars are mediocre but they always charge 20-30 k more than the last model . It is outrageous to pay 200 k on a mercedes or bmw
Touch screen will always be challenging to aim and press while moving. For a car from the top of line from the company, it better stands out! A8 will be very hard to tell apart from a A4.
Gotta consider the Audi A8 being on 18" rims while others seem to have them larger so in the end this affects the comfort positively in Audi. I'd recommend at least to mention it in the video and - if possible - to compare them on same-sized rims.

@@thebeastandthebest488 This generation came out in 2013! 2017 was JUST a facelift. NOT a new model. They didn't even change anything with the facelift. They didn't need to. It was so ahead of its time.
New S class is next year will be similar to next gen 2018 A8 with touchscreens
