You can hear that she is proud to be capable of doing this for her kid, without the fear of starving to death after. Kids got called on this earth by their parents, so it's good to see that some are caring with that much love.
I really liked the ice coloured Master Chief theme before. It would be interesting to see once Luka has had some time to get used to his new setup if he decides to choose a different desktop and lighting theme again. Or maybe he wants to stick with the RGB rainbow 🌈 which is also fun and colourful too
Does he not mind going from dual monitors to a single monitor?
If he does, I’ll add a second one. The monitor arm is there just need to mount it ;)
I was thinking about this also. If just gaming the 32 might be fine, been on a 32 1440P since 2020. But if he checks discord/has his browsers/streams while gaming then maybe he misses the second. Last time I used my 32 and an old 19' (due to be replaced due to age) was multiboxing, my senior mom actually hates the heat from my running more than one pc/monitor at a time. I've thought about adding a proper second monitor if I get back into streaming though but it depends on the use case if more than one is necessary (might be useful for checking chat). Streaming also gave me anxiety whereas recording doesn't. Hope your son loves the 32' regardless of whether he wants his second monitor back for Discord/browsing while gaming (it's kind of hard for most of us to multitask while gaming though I will browse while on a flight path in WoW or something ;)). Nice setup otherwise just my brain is unsure if he will miss the second monitor. And there is the issue of space. If you recommend vertical mounting the second monitor. I also have mic, mixer, pc on the desk and can relate looking at the videos to the issue of where to place everything. I love your hexagonal lights, been meaning to get something like that for my lighting/aesthetic.@@TechTesters

My niece only got a Asus Vivobook from me.. It had a i7-1165g7 with Intel Iris Xe graphics and 16g of RAM.. She was happy enough with that.

My son will be 10 in a few more days. We upgraded his desk to the IKEA setup just recently but the top is on an uplift standing desk for future expansion whenever he gets tall to stand up. When he’s older we want to get an actual butcher block. His pc is still a 9900k build with a 3070 because I am waiting for future 15th gen cpus to see what they have to offer to build a new one. Do our kids deserve setups like this? As I told one who asked me… YES! When you have a child who does well in school, helps when not even asked, extremely caring and is respectful, you reward them because kids these days are unpredictable in how they are. You show them that their efforts are noticed. My wife and I don’t just throw things to our son, but rather teach him that things are earned. You did well by your son and seeing how he is now he will grow to be a good man!
That's so sweet. Don't have any children but I can say that I believe that upgrade will be noticed. I went from 9600K this year to 12700KF/7800XT and 12900KF/7900XTX builds and well if that 9900K is stuttering in games upgrading cured that for me. I don't have to render scale or turn down settings as much as I used to on 9600K 3060 12gb (I should have bought that 3080 I wanted on launch but oh well). Can see rewarding a child for good behavior. I used to have allowance as a kid also, think it's great to have a reward for you are a great kid of some kind. 15th gen should be a nice leap (Ryzen 8000 also look promising), having the p core/e cores has given me better lows in gaming and it's a solid browsing/production experience. The i7s and i9s lately have nice gaming cache. I'm building my elderly mother a 12400F putting the old 3060 12gb in it, hoping to lure her away back into using a pc regularly again.
@@dianaalyssa8726 that’s a pretty good build you have there and your mom with a 12400f is more than perfect for what she will use it for. Yeah my son’s 9900k is still trucking but that’s more than what he needs for now for an almost 10 year old since a lot of adults don’t even have that. I built it for him when he was 5 so it has lasted a very long time and have gotten my money’s worth. As good as the recent cpus are I don’t t think I want to upgrade to those yet. I will eventually upgrade my 10850k too. But I want our next upgrades to be so noticeable that even though I wear pants I want the generational leap to literally blow my skirt off like Marylyn Monroe with the performance 🤣

Wow such great presentation and video as usual! I always pay attention to the hardware that you use because you clearly have reviewed A LOT. I was extremely close to getting that 5000T chassis in black, but I am for sure keeping that Corsair desk on my wishlist for the future. Im going to look into those speakers because I’ve been researching what the best options are for someone who takes their sound quality very serious and uses for music, sound editing, and not just gaming. Your videos are always exciting to watch and always give me something to think about in the never ending quest for knowledge! Thank you!

That setup is insane for someone that young! What a lucky guy! I'm 40 years old and don't have a setup even close to that! Still rocking my 1080Ti i7 8700k, not complaining though. Still treats me good and I'm happy with it.

Thank you for this truly wonderful video. You present so very well. When I lead a business meeting I try to remember the key points about how you present technical information and adapt them to my own presentation. The video work is of outstanding quality. The segments showing your son are wonderful. I'm starting to think I should adapt my own desk to be a little like your son's new desk. I almost cried when I saw the food bank segments. I too understand the urgent need for food banks, and I remember a time, long ago, when I could just not get enough to eat as a kid. Thanks again for this stunning video. For bookshelf speakers, they tend to be near field, so you need to point them at you while you're sitting in front of them so you're better off with the placement that you went with rather than the one that corsair shows in their picture

A bad radiator placement at the beginning i guess. Glad it got changed after renovated. For fps gaming tho, 240hz monitor (27 inch) is better over 32 inch spec.

Great setup! Only thing Id change is adding 2nd monitor on top of the current one, so he keeps the speakers but has 2nd screen for discord/spotify etc. 😁

I probably wouldn't have bought every piece of kit you did through personal preference, but that is an absolutely sick build for your kid! Did you build the machine with him? I did a few builds and repairs of machines with my dad when I was younger which really gave me useful experience and insight. By demystifying the whole setup I felt afterwards that I appreciated the value of my own machine and understood the build and troubleshooting steps a little better. It was also great fun building with my parent.

If the prices I see online are of the same exact model, there are cheaper used cars than this desk alone. I am not going to say anything more about the setup, it's none of my business. Good looking setup and as I said on X, I love those Game Room lights.

4090 for the gpu because it's the most powerfull gpu on the planet and because amd's gpu drivers are hot garbage(personal preference) but awesome setup nontheless I appreciate helping those in need❤❤❤ warms my heart
