  • So imma die hard Flyers fan. So, as much hatred i have for the Rangers. I must say THANK YOU. This kid is a reminder of what old time hockey is all about...you know the good old days....when you had too be tough, talented and be able to be a pest too knock the other team of thier cloud....this kids got the magic touch for all three...its been a long time since weve seen someone like him be able to within 2 months be able to make you forget about the "actual stars" of the game and bring all the attention to himself. This kids a stud. He's going to be a superstar... and he's able to make you look foolish both with the puck and without it. If the Rangers ever let him go... I hope my Flyers pick him up. We need that spark back in our game. Its been 50 years since we've hoisted a cup. Its painful.

  • Mr rempe being a unlikely unsung hero probably has been sandbaging all along. Got the opponents to underestimate him. He made them pay. Now he has thrown their entire strategy out of balance. Head games are in hockey the greatest weapon a team can have. e.g. Islanders goalie billy smith refusing to make a regulation tape ball on the end of his stick was a great head game. I had seen him at the end of pre game warm ups in Buffalo leaving the ice last but not before shooting the puck the length of the ice into the goal. He was the first goalie ever to score a goal. To say the least he brought the worst out of the Sabres fans. He had our number.

  • Rempe showing definitely can do more than just fight and the fact he has skill at both, fighting and being a good offensive asset also, uh yea hahaha this kid is going no where anytime soon boys. He will be in that Rangers lineup for a looooong time to come. Just wish my Hawks had him but if I had a 2nd team it’s definitely NYR. Even have their white jersey one of my favorites in the NHL. I think they should be that 1 team that wears white for home because to me that jersey is their iconic look like how the Cowboys in the NFL wear white for home and then we see it mostly as their away jersey then of course also and I think that would be alright because the white red and blue just something about their white uniform screams MERICA to me haha 💪🇺🇸 Like what a Team USA jersey would look like. Granted of course same goes with their Blue uniforms as well but have always dug the Rangers white Jerseys red pants and white socks. Even the way they have those small thin lines on their pants is iconic New York Ranger Hockey. I’m already a NYY fan so not hard to like pulln for the Rangers as well. More or less my Eastern Conference team and the Hawks of course my Western Conference team but also still overall #1 team haha sorry Rangers if facing my boys in Chicago, it’s on. In all fun though it is cool to see what the Rangers have done this season and I root on any tough team that are showing why they belong and shouldn’t be messed with. My Blackhawks didn’t even make the playoffs sorry Bedsy, so it’s obvious who I will be rooting for in the playoffs. Let’s go Rangers and is cool to see Matt Rempe having fun out there. Scoring goals. Pickn fights and going at it with anyone. Respects kid, respects. 💪I don’t know how as a player or a fan of hockey period whether you like dislike NYR you just gotta respect what they have done and are doing. Good for you Rempe!💪🏒

His excessive celebrations irk the other players. Even his own teammates. hockey players are unique & superstitious. I have never seen wayne Gretzky over celebrate. Kane is mediocre when you see his plus/minus. Coach Steve was a great player. I am sure there are things about kane he is not saying. The redwings obviously are not in a hurry to re sign him on his terms just like chicago was not.

    • Fighting would have done nothing for the team, it would have more potential benefit for the Caps at that point. They were dominant in the game. Fight to defend if needed, otherwise it's dumb for the Rangers in that situation. Everyone needs to stop acting like if Rempe doesn't fight he's scared...every freaking time, stop with the emotional response and use your brain and analyze the situations first.
