- Some times you have to shake the machine. There is no skill involved when the piece is jammed into a corner the machine isn't even designed to go into. They were good and the guy wasn't going to say anything which means they pushed it right to the limits of what they could do. But by the time the guy decided to say anything it was kind of pointless, the machine was empty and they'd already won everything. So its silly to see them get kicked out. It was most likely the employee was butt hurt or raging on the side and finally reached his limit, not because of any care to the reality of the empty machine.

You weren't kicked out for clearing out the machine... You were kicked out for shaking the machine even after you were given a warning. That rule isn't only in place for the machine's sake, but it is for the safety of yourself and others. Maybe not with a machine like that, but people are killed by having vending machines fall on them after they shake them... It is also to prevent cheating, but that one is a minor issue in comparison.

XD -Here's a funny claw machine story :3 It was only.. like.. a few days ago. I was at a resort for Thanksgiving, with my family. On this specific day, our cousins visited and we decided to do a lot of fun things at the resort, like we did last year. We did indoor race carts, laser tag, etc.. well, that part's a lot, and not a important part of this story, so yeah. We were at a Arcade. My cousin wanted to get a turtle in the claw. My mom told me that its VERY rare to get a thing from it, and its just a scam. (Its true, trust me, It's not really skill, its luck, so don't make this an ad :I) Anyways, my cousin got to play the claw. She failed, and since she got a turn it was only fair that that's what the rest of us would get, so the rest of us went to try to get a mini stuffed animal from it. No one got it, until I went, and I was last. (woo dramatic yay stop showing off) I got a squirrel. I wuz like WOOOOAHHAHAHAHH (srsly overreacted) and I said something like "OMG I DIDN'T KNOW THIS WAS PHYSICALLY POSSIBLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" dat feeling when you win the claw for the first time in your dull life

- One time i was in San Francisco and this guy was trying to win a 2 foot SpongeBob plush from a giant claw machine. His sons were about 3 and 8 years old. This man wasted like 50 dollars on this game and his sons were getting impatient. He just finished inserting another 20 dollars and after 3 turns his 3 year old son smashes the button, the man got really frustrated at his son for " wasting a turn". He later realized that the claw grabbed Spongebob by the foot, dragged its face across the sea of Spongebobs and ploped it in the prize box. I was truly impressed.

Used to for Smart Industries and my job was to test these machines we mark down how many wins how many losses and there were suggestions made. Adjustments were made on the claw by adjusting screws as to how hard it clamps down.
