TOP 15 Monsters || MICKHAUSEN HillClimb 2022
The last event of the prestigious Berg-Cup series last season was held at Mickhausen and even the weather proved quite difficult, it featured a great number of proper machinery, from the high-revving VW Golf Mk1, Kadett, Scirocco, to some diminutive hatchbacks like the Lupo and Corsa, all the way to the proper Porsche, Z4 GT, Kadett V8 and Impreza/Evo Monsters. That statement couldn't be more true HCM. And Katuhra, it's crazy how they can build just about anything to be fast nowadays. I think that is the BEST thing about Time Attack and Hillclimb. It's timeless, and a car from any era can be competitive, giving it so much diversity and excitement. They can rebuild and re-weld to stiffen everything up to modern race standards and add a trick modern suspension and bracing (and in some cases gobs of downforce as well.) Especially when starting with a chassis that is already light and/or balanced; there really is no one way to do it competitively.
The 300HP Kadett was fast as hell, and then they bring out the 805HP V8 Kadett and my jaw dropped.

It's always been my dream to have a bike engine swapped car but it seems maybe just a head swap is better?
Remember these are not simple swaps in any way. There are very complex levels of bespoke machination in a lot of these Frankenstein-esque swapped Monsters on our clips ;)

Yay a corsa! I have one just like it! Well... not exactly like it. Its a 2seater van, 1.5l diesel na with a whopping 52 horses, 3 of which died of thirst in 1995 🤣
It was sold as a Nova in the UK - the Corsa looked totally different. Threw me off for a second! They used to be a dime a dozen but they were probably the most stolen car in the country haha

can anyone tell me what the VW EA888 engine with the Busa head is? i see it ALL the time on hill climb but i cant for the life of me find ANY info on it at all besides these hill climb videos... its driving me nuts I WANT TO KNOW!!!!
1.8T Audi, VW, Seat, Skoda… in that case destroked to 1175ccm with the Busa head for „Advantages“ in regulations. It is believed in that case of the Minichberger Corrado that they used the former Super Touring 2.0 engine which was in the car before as base and not the EA888. But not confirmed so far. Seems like nobody knows for sure 😅 If the 2.0 STW engine was based on the EA888 I don’t know.

We can give you the basic specs engine-wise, but the more complex details are off-limits to everyone apart from Minichberger himself (the builder). Bespoke motorsports engineering is their trade and they don´t share that kind of secret easily...
I don't understand how Lupo was only 1sec slower than Z4 GT3? Is it the wrong choice of tyres?
