One of the most insane and unique Hillclimbs in the World, here we come back to South Africa for Simola 2023. With usual 1000+Hp Nissan GT-R´s in different guises, plenty of wildly modified Lotus Exige units ever more powerful and sporting more and more aggressive Aero, unique Monsters like Zeelie´s MR2 and an unhinged "Cobra", with an true Legend as Special Guest. Former WRC and WRX champion Petter Solberg with the dominant VW Polo R WRX. This was a tremendous show and the fastest 15 runs of the weekend were:

  • every one of them lotus's where NUTTY but ima be real. the one with the j35 got me to laugh so hard. not cause its bad or goofy or anything, but because its a j35... like they are a dim a dozen and the one with the amg/ferrari engine probably cost 30x the cost to build that j35 lol. it was so impressive, still tho the ferrari one sounded so good

  • Solberg drove that so hard. Very nice. Notice the top 3 times were no brakes through the top S. The suspension on that R35 killed it though. Low and tight scraping the corners. Major props to Roets and the tuners on Armageddon. Suspension won that one.

  • Got to appreciate some of these drivers from over here in South Africa. Soleberg ripped it to shreds and big up to Davie Joubert at 8:00 because his door flew open and still managed decent time.

  • AMG exige is the thing we didn't knew we needed until . 8:28's rear wing collapsed, and he still set that time. Insane..
