IMPORTANT: Forgot to mention it in the video, but if your system doesn't support Resizeable BAR, you're not going to be getting full performance out of the Arc cards.
So Resizable BAR is a setting normally activated through BIOS 4 G initiation and then enabling BAR or putting some boards on AUTO BAR feature... Just a heads-up backwards compatible to 10th generation Intel and for some lucky few makes sure to check your z390 boards for relevant BIOS updates enabling Resizable BAR as even us far back as 9th generation Intel can have this feature. @@OCONTECH Yeah. My Z390 Aorus Master has the Re-size BAR enabling option. So, even 8th gen Intel CPUs can be used with Arc.
Without resizable bar it has the performance equivalent to a 1650. HUGE performance loss
@@OCONTECH NOT the lucky few. Rebar working on Aorus Master z390 per the F11 Bios update (recognized by AMD software and GPU-Z), Windows 11, check (obv.), CSM disabled, check, still a no go. Even tried booting with another card in the second PCI slot per the Tom's Hardware vid on the subject. Clear CMOS, reset, pfft., I tried everything for days. Would not work. Very frustrating, esp. knowing that some Intel gerbil in the back could change a piece of code from a 0 to a 1 in a driver update to make it work....😕
@@Crossfire2003 I have that same MB with the latest BIOS. Good luck. I9-9900k here, I threw everything but the kitchen sink at it for days and it wouldn't work. The worst part is that it wouldn't do anything the same twice so impossible to troubleshoot. I'm not an expert, but I'm pretty good at this stuff. Have fun trying to get it to go. I gave up.
I've set up an all Intel machine using the A750 to test my Steam library. You mentioned Borderlands 3. I did have artifacts running the monitor to the display port. I switched to HDMI and bl3 ran great.

I got it to run Borderlands3 in DX11, but it didn't perform as well as I had hoped. I had to set the Direct X driver in the config file, because it didn't want to boot when I selected DX12 the first time. The game that gave me the most trouble was World War Z, where it wouldn't let me run it in Vulkan, and DX11 was horrible. Other than that, I was very pleased with the performance, and it a very beautiful card. The drivers keep improving and it runs great. (Even did well in CS:GO) Definitely a keeper.
Jumping onto Intel's ARC A770 LE 16 was a gamble but a smart move 4 months back. Sticker shock from teams Red and Green gave me the push to Intel's camp. I play Borderlands 3 and it runs just fine for me. (Ryzen 7 5800X) What a great investment and with future updates only bringing more untapped potential moving forward. In the PC that I have at my parents house I have a R5 5600X and the A770 Limited Edition. For 1080p the card is excellent. Can't say that I've had issues with it when playing games.

The new drivers they released a day or so ago brought MASSIVE improvements for some games. That card will still be built but by another company for the sources I heard from.
Yes sir, the 16GB Limited Edition is the only version that's getting the axe, the ones from the AIBs will still be produced. And yeah I saw that, but it looks like it was only really huge for one of the AC games.

Highly recommend the Acer Predator A770 bifrost guys, 2k ultra gaming with amazing image quality all games around 100fps. Paired with a 5800x3d.

From what I've heard, I'd love to get an Intel Arc series for the creator PC I'm building. Unfortunately, the deep learning software that I'm using was built on the NVIDIA drivers. So, if I don't use the NVIDIA Graphics card, then no deep learning software for me.
I will definitely have to pick up one of these cards after I get rid of my AsRock Phantom D3.
Should be a decent upgrade, I'd really try to stretch the budget for the 770 though.

I have a msi b450m mortar max mobo and r5 5600 cpu can i get full perfomance from the arc a750? And does msi b450m mortar max mobo support resizable bar?
Hi, your CPU supports resizable bar, but as for your motherboard you'll have to check yourself. In your BIOS go to Settings > Advanced > PCI Subsystem Settings and see if you get the option to enable it. If not, update your BIOS to the latest version. If you can enable rebar then you'll be able to get full performance.
How did you get the fans to 2500RPM, mine only goes to 2200RPM or did I just misshear that?
They ramped up to 2500 during heavy stress testing. The fans on my unit were able to go to 2741 when I set them to 100%. If yours only goes to 2200 it's likely because the card isn't getting hot enough to need higher speeds.
@@TheTechTank I set my fans to 100% too and got temps of 78C, with 82C hotspot just before getting freezes when overclocking, så I'm guessing heat wasn't the freeze issue then. It seems restricted by a Watt limit and not a voltage limit somehow. Thanks.

Intel won't be making the 16Gb variant specifically BUT that does not mean board partners like ACER for example won't be dropping a 16Gb A770, that said you see the fans on that ACER Intel GPU, Sweet! Peace!

@@TheTechTank ACER fans on the ACER model with dual independent ionic fans on top of Vapor Chamber cooling technology will be bloody awesome from my understanding the base clocks on Acer's variant will be raised to 200mhz also, while this actual cooler is also going into re-circulation with Acer's ventures into Radeon GPU's also. Intel have stopped with their Intel OEM A770 16Gb variant, hopefully it's not the beginning of the end with their next cards setting forth (being Battle Mage) as they may have stirred some feathers with a very budget high rammed 16gb card A770. Hopefully this is not a move to conform with the likes of Nvidia in suffocating us with cards that will not last the next generation of RAM hungry games... Peace!
OCONTECH, As far as I know this is not the end but a "Limited edition" run of their product. Even though the product has had a rough start with drivers, it's amazing how much untapped potential the card has with each driver update release. Happy gaming! Peace!
@@Obie327 In relation to the 16gb Intel A770 LE, Intel has announced that they would cease supply of this model specific being the Intel branded 16gb variant, it no longer is being produced as of the start of July, so if inclined to buy a 16gb Intel A770, now, would be the best time, as no more stock of this card specific will be supplied. Further, raises the concern that I hope does not eventuate in relation to Intel also not being as generous with their card's RAM allocation like they were with the A770 16gb for price, as this proved further still that Nvidia be a greedy business. I mean on the enterprise level Nvidia should clean out but being so stingy on the gaming front is literally ludicrous, lol. Peace!

It was a "Limited Edition;" they burned through their "Limited" production. If you want a 16GB A770, consider the Acer BiFrost.

I just bought an SRock Phantom Gaming Arc A770 16GB for testing (It arrives later today) should be interesting because I am pulling out my 3090 T.i and running the A770 for a while.
That flickering in the background behind the graphs is so distracting
Love my A770-16. I installed it in late December and only had one racing title out of seven that would not initially launch. It has since been fixed. Never had a single crash in any game. I also did not have the annoying popups because I did manual driver installs and chose not to load Intel Control. There was really no benefit to it, since I capture on OBS and monitor in GPU-z. How is this card for 1440p gaming
Not bad depending on the game. Should get 60 FPS+ in most with medium to low settings.
Intel Arc cards are very good, but since DOSBox doesn't work with Arc cards they are useless to me.
Uh no. Arc gpu's have done well. There's still a lot of work to do and it has come a long way. The drivers vastly improved but still rather have an AMD/Nvidia card still. For the time being.

I give it 10 years intel will dominate the gaming market gpus and eventually start working with AI like nvida and amd all those company's wanna be the best but intel needs to start slow and steady get a good gaming gpu lime up then start working on highend workstations and AI

Why is it none of you reviewers will give us just a couple minutes of commentary on the cards applicability for those of us looking for a workstation (i.e. video & graphics editing work, not gaming use) video card? Throw us a bone will ya.
Most of the bigger reviewers have dedicated sections in their graphics card reviews for productivity applications like the ones you mentioned. I stopped including them in mine because buying all of the licenses etc. just wasn't feasible.

Dedicated GPUs are STILL VERY expensive! AMD iGPUs for the win!!!! I'm not even a gamer so no reason to get a dedicated GPU!
Benchmark at 4K it's a better indicator of how good the card is
Why should Nvidia or AMD be scared of the A750? They have mobile GPU's that trample the A750 all day long...
Because a brand new competitor being this good right out of the box means a very promising future where Intel can compete with the others at the higher end as well.
Intel's tried this back in the day with the i740 and dipped out quick when they got their ass handed to them by everyone else as they continue to with RDNA in the integrated market, they're a large company with very deep pockets so I'd think they'd have great engineers that could make this happen in a heartbeat, but it's been rocky so far. We shall see how successful they are with this. There IS one good thing to come of their success tho: AMD and nVidia would have to lower their prices to compete, and I'm all for that. Good video btw, didn't say that earlier.
Thanks man, I appreciate it! I don't think anyone doubts Intel can make it happen if they actually prioritized their GPU division - like you said, they have the money and people to make it happen. They have all the opportunity in the world to be a real competitor, I just hope they see the value in seizing it for the sake of my wallet if nothing else 😂
Intel arc a750 is shitty sorry, not worth it... 30-50 fps in GTA, returned the card to shop and took rtx 3060 intead and fps grew to 100-150 without any modifications. Dont buy it!!
Too be honest just be glad to get something from it I was expecting a low level GPU like a equivalent gtx 470 or under the fact is that intel made a 1440p just barely capable card shows they are on there way to great things I was expecting really low level 1080p gaming like back in the old days of gpus the fact is if intel can bring a 4k capable card even if it does 4k 60fps for a decent price then fine it's getting then start working on getting more 4k fps gaming and so on 8k 60fps intel needs to power through the flaws and work on if
