Join me for a ride on the mighty 2024 Triumph Rocket 3 Storm, the biggest, baddest modern cruiser of them all and now even meaner thanks to some updates for the 2024 model year, including more power and a new sinister look inspired by the previous Black and Triple Black special editions. Now with 182 horsepower and an incredible 225Nm of torque, the 2,458cc triple at the Rocket’s heart is the biggest engine on any production motorcycle and makes for a ride like no other.
Filmed on the international media press launch, in this video I ride the Rocket 3 Storm on the roads in the hills above Nice for what proved to be an unforgettable experience!

  • I rode a Rocket for a day when my bike was in for a service. I really enjoyed the experience and covered the best part of Wales and Middle England. It was a treat. But I was delighted to get my own bike back. You do get used to riding positions. Thank you for this excellent insight and great confidence in riding Dan

  • My 2016 Triumph Rocket III roadster is highly modified & highly customized. It's all black, murdered out with forward controls & 18"apehanger handlebars. Carpenter Racing built up the engine & trans to full race specs. 12:1 compression with 260hp & 190ft/lbs of torque at the rear wheel. It's a Beast, and a blast to ride. It makes me giggle every time I get on it. It handles the twisties really well, I'm constantly wearing down the scraper nuts on my footpegs and can keep up with my Ducati & BMW Superbike friends. But!!! I'm never scared of it. If your bike scares you, you have the wrong bike. Stay Safe Ya'll!😎

  • The TFT is ridiculously small for such a big bike. It's a money saver for Triumph, because they use that same TFT on several of their bikes.

  • This is awesome. Mirrors my first ride of the Rocket 3 a few years ago. Daunting, but once on the move, easy to ride and so vibrant and exciting. A rewarding bike to ride, thrilling but controllable. I also ground the pegs, startled me quite a bit, but again, no drama.

  • I have a 2023 R model in Ice-Gray color. I would like to confess, that the recent Earthquakes here in NJ were cause by the Torque of my Rocket, as it temporarily countered the rotation of the Earth, hence causing the quake...Please don't tell anyone. Be that as it may, I did not like the GT version, the pegs are too far forward as you illustrated, and these new Storm models, I feel are too blacked out. An Engine like the Rocket needs to show contrast, an all black layout, takes away the massive nature of the engine

  • I find it a very easy bike to ride as well. Having mid pegs is the best set up if you want to take off. I don't find it intimidating because the electronics and balance is so good. The original 2300 Rocket was difficult because it was too heavy and cumbersome. It has a split personality as it can cruise nicely but has the potential to be speed monster. It's also light enough to scoot around in parking lots. I had to pick and choose how I parked the original Rocket III. Glad you enjoyed the experience.

  • Why while everyone mentions the Diavel and the American V twins as competitors to this monster, nobody mentions the Yamaha V-max (even as second hand nowadays) ? It's 1700 cc and has almost 200 Hp! It's also a mix between cruiser and a muscle bike. To me it's the closest thing.

  • Why the Hell is the pillion so small? A so-called touring bike should be nice to its passenger, even a back rest. No doubt you can buy those things but why can’t Triumph supply it from the factory? Shame.
