  • Quite agree with Tony Bellew's Scorecard Benn 25, Peynaud 30 (at 17:13). I also agree with Bellw's scoare card at 28:50 which shows 55 to 55 = Draw. That Benn was given the 'unanimous' victory 57 to 54 must be trributed to the fact that Benn is a UK fighter, whereas Peynaud is French and that the bout was carried out in the UK.

    • Peynaud didn't win this, but I think realistically you could have given it him by a point. He won 3 rounds (1, 2 and 4) one being a 10-7, but Benn won rounds 5 and 6 clearly, which were both 10-8 rounds. Round 3 was a Benn round in my view, but only just, it could have been given as a draw, but really Benn did just enough to take that round. Ultimately it comes down to whether or not you gave the third round as a draw or as a Benn round. If you have it as a draw then Peynaud takes the right by a point. I gave it to Benn, meaning the fight was a draw, but clearly the judges gave that final round as a 10-7 to Benn, which is just disgraceful!

    • He did not lose, at least he shouldn't of lost. It was only 1 knockdown in the first round, and Benn won the second a last big hit doesn't change that. Benn then definitively won the 5th and 6th 10 - 8. Worst case scenario for Benn should be him winning 56 - 55 If it had gone to Paynaud based on the wrong knockdown call it would have been the wrong decision.

Usyk needs to make sure he stops AJ or else he will get robbed on the cards as well.

  • These commenttators and presenters need too stop the hype so early on in a fighters career. They need to do more research on the opponant and don't disregard him as a challenge.

    • Finally watched this recently and had it the same with one round I thought could go either way and would have understood it being a draw. I watched it cause every time there is an article about Benn there are a bunch of comments about him being a pretender due to this fight. I came away more impressed with him battling back than some of his easy KO wins. And when watching a more recent fight the improvements are obvious.

    • Shane Jordan Oh of course the eyes, now that's how you score boxing points not by the number of legal punches successfully landed but by the look in the boxers eyes, tell me which school of boxing did you go to? Trump boxing academy?
