I am so amazed at how fast she jumped up to your shoulder! It was like she just couldn't wait to get there! What love.

I like her. In fact, she has the same name as my favorite person on AGT. Without the dash between U and K that is.

luther placido Jokgu prefers to sit quietly in our laps. She DOES come to the run door when called and will walk to the house on her own. It is quite adorable. Will have to try to catch it on film sometime 😍

I have a video of my young chicken Buddy jumping on my shoulder. It's not on youtube unless you want to see it.

I got young chicks to do it first. You must be consistent. Here's how I did it, it wouldn't do it at first of course. So I got a treat for it, and hid the treat (it's easier in my hand) so it won't distract the chick. then I hold the chick pretty close to my shoulder, and I pat my shoulder, "shoulder" "shoulder" then if it doesn't jump on, I move her onto my shoulder, and give her the treat. Repeat this as needed. Then keep increasing the distance you hold the chicken to your shoulder, with love and patience, it'll get the hang of it. Just don't give her a treat if she jumps on you without you asking her to, not only is it convenient, but it's teaching her to jump only on command.
