I love how they really did get the character to look almost exactly like the actual actors. We never see ghosts full face but the actors eyes look exactly the same , it’s crazy
The thing is, his previous actor got in a LOT of trouble. Replacing him made sense because we don’t even know what Ghost looks like anyways

14:45 really love all of what Neil says, but this stood out to me - I like how these newer actors really became part of their character. I love the old voice actors, but the voice acting is very much voicing a fictional action man/super hero, whereas the new 141 feel like real men that could exist. They've done an awesome job

Neil and Sam are so wholesome, I love them so much. I admire their work ethic when it came to acting and their dedication into personalizing their characters to help them come to life. Because of that I love the characters even more.
This stream showed up on the home page, so I clicked it on a whim. It ended up being the most entertaining thing on KZhead. The chat was pure insanity. A flux of seemingly young female commentors supposedly from Tik Tok rushed in spamming hearts and thirstily fawning over the actors. Some of the more NSFW highlights include "I'm spreading my legs", "My legs are shaking", "I want mohawk burn in my thighs". Some buzzkills wagging their fingers. But also quoting the game. This is funny, but its real. Women are actually verifiably playing Call of Duty now. And they want storylines with hunky men with gruff accents. Take notes Activision. Also, mad respect to the Tik Tok teens for crashing this plane with no survivors, I was there when /tv/ raided the Tom Hardy AMA. Everyone was naming themselves Dr Pavel and BigGuy4U and asking absurd questions, and one guy managed to get a classy response from Tom Hardy confirming the fan theory and everyone went nuts. Fuck safe spaces, this is what the internet is all about!

It's not the gruff hunky part that makes them hot to us. It's that they flirt all game and are emotionally vulnerable with each other. They need to bend each other over and they'll have captured the audience of every woman in the world.

I love these actors so much, soap and ghost have been some of my favourite characters in gaming since 2009. They portray their characters so well. I feel awful about all the comments and the way people are treating them. I hope they continue to just keep being amazing and ignoring the absolutely horrendous people online. Wish actors could be treated like people instead of just a character.
I have always been amazed by the realistic quality of the characters in the Modern Warfare series, but I never new that the actors looked EXACTLY like their characters. I could picture Johnny (“Soap”) and Simon (“Ghost”) in the interview. Sam’s voice, as well as his fun and calm attitude, matches Soap perfectly and Neil is as chill and straight-faced as Ghost. I loved Sam’s joke: Sam- “Where can you find a turtle with no legs?” Dan- “Don’t know. Where?” Sam- “Where you left it.” Thank you Dan for these amazing interviews. I hope that this cast is willing to participate more in this amazing franchise and even take part in a live-action film if/when one comes out.

Ik this is 11 months ago now but, just after playing through MW2's Campaign I really connected with Neil (Soap) on a personal level. I'm sure everyone here has played or seen this but, I cried so much after the last scene and I felt a part of me just absolutely get ripped away. I want Soap to win Damn it! Hope Neil comes back for more he has done an amazing job and love his personality at some point in time.

OMg! Awesome interview with Neil and Sam. I remember Sam from the AMC series, “Turned” and the fact that he plays as Ghost in COD MW, I was blown away to hear and see him once again! He is cool and hearing him as gruffly and northern England accent is just so cool when I remember him with a heavenly but sly as a fox proper gentleman English accent.
