This kind of delusional attempts to disclaim any responsibility of an outdated and abusive set of religious principles that empower and give men excessive rights that they glad take it without qualms make me laugh out loud!!! The law of this country was constructed on religious law so yes, religion is to blame and the one who doesn’t fight it back is an accomplice.

Women are encouraged to wear hijab in islam in order to protect them from vicious and pervert men as men are mostly attracted to the hair. In islam, a man is responsible for caring for his wife,daughter and other family members.Hence, what Im trying to say is that women are considered as significant beings inIslam

    • Ineta and Archie the rules of kingdoms around the world are same including all kingdoms in Europe. Even king are not allowed to travel without permission/ Guardian of the authorities. Since 30 years ago we see how those Medias attacking the British royals in UK so no wonder if those Medias know everything about the royals life who they never meet or landed at their kingdoms. on the interview the former Queen and her kids talked about during she become Queen 1- she can't always travel for holiday. At least she have been travel. I mean clearly she is ungrateful ! 2- One of her kids suffered of anorexia but her kids also said they can go shopping but the bodyguard is always around them. Royal everywhere r same u can't leave 100M from house without bodyguards. 3- her kids said all of them before work but they violated the law so they can't work anymore, they r lucky if they r not princess maybe will be jailed. 4- their kids said their live are change since their mother run to UK. Ofc this the consequences if u have been a leader of the kingdom then suddenly run to other kingdom and collaborate with the criminal Medias who always against ur own kingdom since 70 years ago. So she is so lucky if she was American or Russian she will be killed since long time ago or sleep in the Guantanamo for the rest of her life. In the history king abdullah is the best king in Saudi Arabia. Till now all Saudis men and women missing him especially the youth their greatly admire king abdullah

    • Savina Bees the 4 princess and her mother has violated dozen of the kingdom laws, the former Queen is not just betrayed her husband but also violated the law by collaboration with foreign medias who against the kingdom since decades ago. Prison and palace is totally different. They living in palace with dozens of maid the only thing they can't do is travel. They still can go shopping, meet with their relative etc. If they are ordinary Saudis citizen they will be jailed 15-20 years for being a rebel and leaking secret country lucky their brothers still have powers so when their father pass away the authorities do not keep them in prison. Two of them already married in 2016-2018 btw the other two is busy work at their father humanitarian foundation.

    • Briony Toop ...because freedom is never free. In a perfect world, it would be. But, the world as we know it is imperfect. There are men and women in various parts of the world who are living under oppression right this moment. Again, freedom is never free. It takes a lot of sacrifice to live in security and freedom, regardless if you're a man or a woman. By the way, there are many Saudi Women who completely embrace leaders like the women's late father and the rest of the family. Unfortunately, those women were born into a very patriarchal Islamic culture. Not to mention, they're looked upon as upstarts and rebels. That type of value system isn't going to be easy to get out of. Their mother has shown her face on other programs I've seen. She lives in England now. Some things can be changed, others--unfortunately--can't. Let's count our blessing.

      @wTrevorh@wTrevorh8 жыл бұрын
    • Briony Toop That's exactly why my response was as it is. I wanted you to see beyond the narrow scope of feminism and more from a cultural and sociological standpoint. If you only see the issue from "a woman's point of view" you're likely to miss the full picture. The issue the princesses face is beyond their mere womanhood; it's values-driven, religion-driven, nation-driven, familial, and deeply rooted in the issue of their (non) allegiance to king and country. Only when you choose to see beyond the feminist prism, could you begin to understand the full story of these princesses' situation. Thanks for the response. ;' .

But Jesus christ came to set free from every bondages & bring peace of God above human understanding. Jesus said; Peace I leave with you, My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid. (John 14:27) Religion leads to hell, but Jesus saves from hell. For “whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved.” (Romans 10:13) The Lord says, “I will rescue those who love me. I will protect those who trust in my name. When they call on me, I will answer; I will be with them in trouble. I will rescue and honor them. I will reward them with a long life and give them my salvation.” (Psalm 91:14-16)

    • Abraham, I love Jesus as much as the next person. The only problem I have with people who believe as you do, is the exclusionary nature of your perception of religion. You hit on the very problem with all our major religions, and that is you believe that your way is the only path to God. So very narrow minded. Such a shame that people can't see the inherent beauty and commonality in all religions. Jesus message of compassion and unity for all people, and "Love one another." is one of the most beautiful we have in our world today. I wish more people, especially, those who call themselves Christians, would open their hearts to this most important aspect of Jesus' message. I also don't know what your message has to do with these poor women who went missing. Please God, bless them and may they be safe!

  • I lived in Jeddah near this compound for 9 years in the 80's and drove by it almost daily. I knew that a princess and her children lived here. The place was lit up at night like a stadium and the perimeter was always guarded. I never knew that this would be the fate of the daughters. It is disheartening and disgraceful. However, they touched on a point that is sadly true. It is not 'just' them but many women suffer this same kind of fate. It is not only men that suppress women - there is just as much oppression that comes from other women. It is sad that in a country where women are educated and have such potential to contribute to their society are instead held back. Any woman that tries to actually use her education must fight for her dignity and respect. I learned Arabic as I wanted to understand the ideals of the people I was living among. It is a complicated society - no doubt. I do not advocate a mirror of Western society for Saudi Arabia as this is an ignorant notion. However, change must come to the Kingdom from the royals and from the society at large. It is incumbent upon all to participate in that change for the better of all of its people of which women... are people. I wish for these women and all women of Saudi Arabia to see a productive freedom in their lives as they have much to offer to their families and their society.

That thing about not making pictures of Mohammed because of "over worship" or idolatry, but then naming every third child Mohammed is still doing that very sin. Then people named Mohammed want to get all holier than thou when someone draws pictures of Mohammed--and each one is a freaking hypocrite without wisdom. Literally, if you're named "Mohammed" you need to shut the f' up about folks drawing pics of the prophet and ask your parents about their idolatry. If they are mocking Islam, they sure as shit are not "Idolating", why attack??? Cartoonists have committed no sin, they aren't even Muslim. And a "peaceful religion" bans any and all holy texts not Islam. Why? Why do Muslims have such a difficult time practicing their religion without also needing the government to be Muslim as well and literally ban other religions? Why are Muslims also always "separatists"???

  • One should never treat your children like this. You should love on them and encourge them to become the best version of themselves. Where love is involved, the ego shrinks.

  • As a Muslim Arabic girl such people are shame to our community and religion how could he do this to his iwn daughters ? my father is a simple man and he would do anything in his favor to make my brothers and i happy and healthy he made me feel like a princess at heart and him a king at mine he wouldn't take it if I cried he would panick if I get sick I just hope that such persons would face trial and get what they deserve despite whom they are and whatever authority they hold this a humanright's matter I hope they are save and sound wherever they are now

  • This is scary . Feel sad yet heart breaking for these 4 young women ..This King will fall so will his sons fall ..This is evil to do this ..All children are a BLESSING FROM GOD . And to treat a Blessing From God like this .It's not right ..We all need to Pray for their freedom .and safety

  • That's so sad. In the family picture with their mom they look like such a happy family, and they're very pretty. How could their own dad do that to them? Just because he is angry at their mother or why else? It's just terrible
