I’ve been playing the switch version of this game. It’s a lot easier since you can switch all weapons and style in any mission. This missions is great for grinding orbs but I have not beat Vergil like this in DMD. Impressive and fun to watch! Thank you

Try jumping or dodging then press Style button, this going to buff your block and some reason always is a perfect block when doing this way.

May I ask you something - 1:57 your guard - how you do this side step? It looks like you want to roll, but cancel it and it moves you sideways....

In DMC3 (but not 4 or 5) when you roll and press guard button your roll gets cancelled into a guard. It gives you more i-frames (invincibility frames) where you cannot take any damage.

In dmc you have invincibility frame during your jump until you're no longer traveling upwards. So they're making royal guarding easier by having Dante be safely inside Vergil's attack hit-box before he presses the royal guard button. That way the player can more consistently get perfect royal guards off Vergil.
