I watched starting @ min. mark 8:51, your discussion post fight with the sound off and Closed caption. I teared up. It's just not the way you train and fight its your ethics and integrity. We love you here in the Pacific Northwest.
Without a fighter of your caliber, UFC fans never would have gotten the opportunity to see a historic fight and finish like this, it could have been Max that fell to the ground, but you both took the risks and the result is a historic finish, I think the most exciting finish in UFC history on the most historic card. Be very proud of this. For decades to come in all UFC promos, people will remember you both as legends who set the standard very high of what that BMF belt is supposed to represent.

As a Waianae boy who supports Max it’s awesome to see the respect you both have for each other and the sport. And even for the fans who got to see history in the making. I can say that nearly every Max fan wants you to climb back and fight for the belt which you deserved before the fight. When Max had that mysterious concussion or weight cut issue we were worried about but as we know now it was just a footnote for his return. You’re definitely a BMF 4 Life. Mahalo
