Mitsubishi Pajero NP, Modified episode 28
Mitsubishi Pajero NP Modified episode 28 features another Pajero, this one being the NP with front and rear independent suspension. These is a lot of stuff going on in the engine bay including methanol injection! There is even DIY custom fabricated bar work which looks like something you’d purchase at a 4x4 accessory shop.

That rear bar is fantastic. He should be involved in product development.
when he said rubbish bags, i yelled wahoo! what a legend, i do the same, treat the place right and it will stay open
That was legendary indeed!!!
common sense where i come from. Sad it need to be mentioned, but good that it did. Too many inconsiderate nature detached jerks leave their cities a couple of times per year in order to ruin our nature. Then they go home and brag at the marketing meeting between aluminium cup coffeemakers and vegan 3 day beard manikured product manager about how they spend so much time in nature. Those of us, who live 24/7 in the bush - like myself, have then to collect their trash from OUR neighbourhood. greetings from the artic forests of finland.
Rudi is one of the nicest blokes going around. Not much he doesn’t know about NP Pajeros.
I find the Pajero to be a very overlooked vehicle. I am happy with my NP diesel and still own a NA which is still chugging along with over 400, 000 on the clock.
The Pajero is very under-rated as a serious go-anywhere 4WD; but having owned quite a few Toyota 4WD wagons, we now own a Pajero series IV/V98, and it constantly surprises us with its ability to get the job done. My parents series III/V98 is now 14 years old, and it has proven to be TOTALLY reliable, so we knew what to expect. We have found the Pajero to be very sure-footed and predictable to drive. Our Pajero is very comfortable, and for such a great highway tourer, she is incredibly capable off-road. The standard Super Select II and excellent traction control on the later series III and all series IV Pajeros (NP, NS, NT, NW and current NX), allows Pajero to go where even a 100 series Toyota 'Cruiser would be having serious trouble moving, particularly in low-traction conditions - the Pajero finds grip and keeps on going.
S P notarobot maybe a new pajero vs 100 series.but to compare in general a pajero offroad to a landcruiser is just blasphemy
He is right about the traction control, best out there especially on the NT (2009) and up.
@@petersajkic6749 sorry I'm late to the party...but how's it a blasphemy to compare them when Pajeros have proven their off-road capabilities in rallies such as Rally dakar the hardest race in the world..
Tsaki Tx Agree 👍🏻
@@petersajkic6749Yeah. The land cruiser is disadvantaged it wouldn’t be fair.
Garbage bag response was absolute gold , what a legend !
absolutely love the locking mechanism on the rear bar!! love the garbage bag answer!! I'm not normally fond of Pajero's, but i really like how this has been built up.
spot on! So many dickheads out there who don't give a shit!
Can I add that its also a good idea to take your poos with you too, especially at the beach!
New Pajero club as well Aus Paj ( Australian Pajero Enthusiasts) Started by Rudi. A small group with an absolute wealth of knowledge.
I love the NP Pajero, the best looking and awesome design ever!! Bought a 2018 exceed but still had my 2004 NP and couldnt get rid of it so I sold the new 2018!
Mate, love that rear bar. Awesome piece of work, especially for a self job. Love the electronic locking on it, the integrated winch and how it meets the wheel arches. Top job!
love the modified series. good to see what's going on in the other side of the world
Well said! Always bring the garbage bags! Always have a few in my car and always picking up other people rubbish when I hit the track and trying to do the right thing! There are the small percentage that ruin it for the majority of us.
that rear bar is outstanding, bloody great job
Good setup mate. I like the rear bar with the jerry can holders. My Pajero is rocking the Rhino Platforms and when not towing the van, we use Jerry Can holders on top of the roof where it is exposed etc. Great point about garbage bags.
love the rear bar work , top job Rudy
finding someone with an isuzu worth reviewing would be intersting love these ronny
Great video! Really well kitted pajero, fair play ruddy and a big Pat on the back for that rear bar, it’s fantastic! Safe adventuring with her👍🏻
Just watched, great video. Just bought a 2000 Paj DiD LWB 5spd LHD a few months ago. 395K on the clock...had to do the injector pump and injectors. These are tuff rigs!
Finally!!! A guest that didn't mumble! :):)
best answer with the garbage bags! mad respect.
Good review from the owner Cools lads Ronny your doing a good job mate learn a lot from you and your channel Thanks mate
Great choice for a Modified Video, a lot of people wish to step down from a big Landcruiser or Patrol and wonder what kind of off road cred the Pajero has. No doubt they probably are a much nicer vehicle to live with on the road for the rest of the time :)
Gotta say that intro is amazing watched it 5 times!
What a cool rear bar setup
Yew!! Thanks for the NP XD Long awaited!!
Love these modified episodes
What a sweet rig, that rear bumper is genius. I also like the fact he has 2 batteries under the hood. I'm thinking about getting one also. Too bad they didn't import those to the states. Cool vid.
Awesome modified episode, best one yet, ( I am of course biased LOL)
the rear bar is awesome
If I could like this a thousand times I would. extremely cool jeep

I love pajeros. Had p3 and now bought p4. Peace
Hi Rudy I am quite intrigued in your carriers on your rear bar. What did you do in regards to mounting the bull bar onto the uni body frame in order to handle that additional weight without breaking out of the mount point?
He don't have afraid to do some wheeling.
Pretty sweet, first time coming across a methanol offroader. The audio seems a lot clearer, got some new mics Ronny?
hahaha your name
Nice video! Q what model should i look for the 4.9 diffs…
Great video and truck. Whats involved in the turbo upgrade, my generation 4s turbo is on its way out, and I am really keen on bigger turbo if its possible. Any help on this will be much appreciated. Thanks guys.
Nice 😎
hehe, my P3 year also. I like the mod. Congrats!; Any details re lift? What has proven itself? So far I am on Kumho 285/55, highway style )); Kinugava Turbo? Variable geometry? Any chance to have it all collected?
posi terminal on 2nd battery looked perilously close to the bonnet lid! not much wiggle room/no insulation.
Have you done a video on buying a 4wd? It could be helpful with all the insurance, warranties, ect...
Is this the same car wherein they placed the tow line at the Bullbar and pulled it off?
Any chance of getting a newer model paj on your channel Ronny?
WTF! Methanol injector, wow I am inspired for my NT Pagero. Would love to chat with you to find out more 😀😁
Ronny, I have the exact same make n model. Where is a good place too start
Such a nice Paj. Too bad it got wrecked while on one of our club runs :(
Well done realty good video Can I ask you to do a test between auto and manual same model and tyres pull a trailer up a hill
i know it might be hard to find, but a moded episode of a suki xl7 would be nice
You should make a video on ifs vs solid front end 4wd I'm sure you'd make a mad vid!!
You should test bfgoodrich
Where's the link with the mods?
Methanol injection...i have an NP and I'm interested. Where would I find information on how to do this "cheap and easy to install" mod?
Top mount better throttle response more heat soak less power, fmic less throttle response more cold air more power ..
When are we going to get the modified episode of the black knight Ronny??
Can you please do a 150 series prado
I know someone who'll be all over this video like a rash.... LOL :-)
Im one of them Ade, lol. cheers Moose
MOOSEDOWNUNDER Are you the famous Downunder from Australia pajero forums?
Can you tell me what measures of tires and wheels it has?
this 3.2 engines didnt came with intercooler?
How many kilometres it got before the engine rebuild?
I like it pajero
Can't speak highly enough of my Boo's bashplates. Solid product and very inexpensive.
What I love about the Pajero is that, when naming the vehilcle, Mitsubishi clearly didn't do very comprehensive research to see what "Pajero" might mean in other languages - particularly Spanish-speaking parts of the world))
I've listened to this a dozen times and I've never heard him say petrol
Its written
where do you get your re gear for Mitsubishi? im looking for a 4.88 ratio for a triton 2016 thank you
What is the Dimension of the tires please?265 70 17?
what is the difference between an NM & an NP ??? pls i cant figure it out
Ronny, question for the modified crew: What mod after spending the money, turned out not to be worth the cost?
Excellent question.
What is this Petrol turbo diesel hybrid?
finally
Can sometime a gq ute please be on modified
I really wish we had more diesel passenger vehicles in the us besides trucks diesel suvs would be really nice
Yet we in Australia are amazed at the price of Diesel fuel, considering it is by-product of making petrol (gasoline)
Hugh Jazz roughly double the petrol to diesel is produced in the refinement process so it should be more expensive if demand was equal
Coz F diesel was actually cheaper here in the US just not to long ago surprisingly
Coz F diesel was actually cheaper here in the US just not to long ago surprisingly
Or conversely, Petrol should be twice as cheap :)
Bit late to the party, but does anyone know the make and model of the electric slam latches used on the rear bar?
Does this guy mass produce those rear bars?
Hey Ronny could you do a modified video of a Toyota landcruiser hdj79 series please
Hey Ronny, can you please do a modified video on a new model BT-50. Cheers mate ;)
1:45 Petrol 3.2 turbo diesel. Confused af
4m41
can you do a 3.5L v6 petrol Jackaroo (trooper) a 99 onwards please Ronny? I would love to see one featured, I'm in the process of building one, pretty underrated vehicles really and they love them in the states.
MerlinMotoV weak factory undercarriage and highly unreliable engine that is prone to blown head gaskets...my advice cut you loses and buy something else
11:15 I know this a fairly old post but would anyone have any information on the fold up bed in the back of the Pajero? This looks like exactly what I am after.
u find these matresses on ebay
why does he have two extra tires on the vehicle? the top one just makes the vehicle heavier and lose balance.
Could you confirm the spelling of the roof rack and where they are located? Cheers
yes cant find this either
Modified 60 series please
U should do a 2.8 patrol gu @ronny Dahl
