  • Cp3 was clutch and had great performances in playoffs but he didn't have elite start teamates and dealt with injuries.

    @IHunter2k@IHunter2k Жыл бұрын
    • Sounds like 90% of his career. Overrated teamates who didn’t play well in big games, a shit ton of injuries, and just some plain bad luck throw in one or two choke jobs and it’s just a tragic story. People over blow his reputation of choking but he’s had a few moments for sure. But typically he’s been much better in the playoffs then given credit for and just ran into better teams or bad luck with choking teammates and Injuries.

      @TheIcemanthomas@TheIcemanthomas Жыл бұрын
    • Nothing tragic in his career, cmon bro. Even though he didn't win a ring his career is still amazing and he is easily top 7 PG of all time. In what way it's tragic lol. Like it's a bit unfortunately that he didn't win but that's about it. Winning championship still requires luck cause it's a team and not an individual sport + injuries are a thing and CP3 just like a lot of other greats before and with him - he lacked luck big time resulting in not winning a chip. He really only choked one series which was Clippers vs OKC. His reputation of choker holds no weight is more of a byproduct of his over competitiveness as well as flopping and constantly arguing with refs rubbing some players and a lot of fans the wrong way, nothing else. @@TheIcemanthomas

    @31TDs1SZN@31TDs1SZN6 ай бұрын
    • I grew up idolizing CP3 but that's a cap. CP3 is definitely there in the conversation and at least top 10 but the best undisputed Poing Guard peak king is Magic. After Magic everything is not as clear and depends on how you categorize players. Like if you consider Curry a PG in such conversations (there are more than enough argument to consider him as SG despite him officially being listed as PG cause really during the GSW domination real Point Guards of the team were Green, Iggy and Livingston. Curry was simply too much of a threat and to viable to run plays for off ball and utilising multiple screens and lots of ball movement and ironically Curry was playing more as a true point guard when they were still a mediocre team and he was already pretty damn good back then it just wasn't the Curry we all know today until GSW started to utilized him a bit differently) is also a higher peak. And CP3 vs Nash/Kidd/Oscar/Zeke is very subjective and arguments could be made for each of them to be better or worse than each other and there is no real answer other than Magic being the 1 and Curry being 2 if you consider him PG and not SG (to make it makes more sense to threat him as SG in such conversations. CP3 got a really devastating and career impacting injury back in early 2010 which insta removed a lot of his athleticism. Who knows, if not that injury maybe he would potentially peaked even higher at some point of his career but as the things ended the way they did he peaked right before the injury in 07/08 and 08/09 seasons.

    • @@lunacy5510 magic was Kareem’s back up center so miss me with that point guard bs. I clearly said CP3 is the best “true point guard”. Steph is a shooting guard in any other lineup in history, zeke is the only one I can understand putting above CP but Nash’s mvps are fraudulent, kobe should’ve won, and there is just no way you could watch Jason Kidd and think he’s better than CP3

    • Ye. Also, Grizzlies officially beginning their grit era and upsetting the Spurs. Shaq retired, Celtics dynasty kinda ended this year too (the rest was just Rondo stats show but the team slowly dying out until turnin the next chapter with Tatum and Brown years later) and Ray Allen switched the sides after that year joined Heat and made arguably most iconic finals shot all time the next season, Howard at his most dominant year ever (snubbed from MVP that year) losing to Hawks, Durant, Wesbtrook ,Harden era OKC first playoffs win and so on. Looking back 2011 was such iconic playoffs.
