  • Hey, that's 1st gen Yamaha YZF R125 or R15. The first production year is come from 2008. Definitely F-A-K-E aging and rust. Edit: It's gen 2, even younger than i mention above (gen 2 was released in 2011). thanks for correcting 👍🏻 And its definitely 50 years old bike, IF you now live in 2061 🤣

  • You are definitely a pro at applying mud, sand and grit to new motorcycles for certain "patina". Yamaha sure was ahead of their time in the early 70's weren't they, producing modern looking sport bikes!! Honda never had a chance did they.

  • For anyone wondering the bike is a yamaha R15 V2 a 150cc and it was launched in 2012 so it's a 10 year old bike if that is a 2012 model it went till 2018 than they changed the bike a bit with new fairings and some engine tweaks.and it became R15 V3 which went till this year and now a R15 V4 is on sale which is like a 150cc version with se looks as r7.i have the same bike R15 V2.

  • Yamaha R150. This is not 50years ago. This frame firstly produced was about in 2008. In Indonesia this frame has been being used in Yamaha Vixion, R15, and Xabre 150

  • This bike is 50 years old - but only if you're watching this in the year 2058. An excellent job all round, don't worry about the big lump of broken off engine casing, I'm sure it will be fine. Put body filler over the rust on the tank, I'm sure it won't bubble up and fall off after 6 months. Body filler over the flexible plastic fairing parts, yeah, that'll be fine just as long as you never reattach it to a motorbike otherwise it's just going to crack and fall off immediately.

  • This is a 2008 R15, had the same bike, plus I'm born in 1975 & the racing style motorcycles with the fairings & extras weren't available until the very late 1970's, to get early 1980's('80-'82) you can fool some, but not ALL!!! 😂👍 Also how how did the plastics "rust"??? 🤔😂

Jogar um copo de gasolina na moto cai tudinho. Avancei o vídeo logo depois que vi a pintura do corpo injetor kkkk, no final das contas ela ficou apresentável. Ou pronta pra venda. Pra quem lê esse comentário e falar que ele é humilde e o lugar é simples, eu discordo. Sou mais humilde e com certeza fiz uma restauração de verdade não uma maquiagem. Mesmo assim parabéns, vc é muito inteligente.

  • Finished job looked pretty good. Especially for being a very low budget restoration. I do feel a little more attention to detail could have brought it much further. Only one part actually made me cringe a bit and that was seeing the carb covered in paint, I would have pulled it apart cleaned and soaked it in thinner and left it bare metal

    • @@gregorytubera984 definitely a carb. Not port injected and not TBI. Some carbureted bikes have electric fuel pumps but they are still carbureted
