Both the schwinn ic4 and joroto x2 as fairly nice pieces of machinery, however the question we need to ask and seek an answer to is why would you pay over double the price to get the schwinn ic4 when you can simply buy a joroto x2 at less than half the cost. Additionally the Schwinn IC4 is very similar to the boxflex c6, so if you're thinking about getting a bowflex c6 this video may help give you some information as well.
At the end of the video I conclude that schwinn ic4 is indeed the better indoor cycling bike, although each are not nearly as nice as the peloton bike, however there are trade offs to be considered. the schwinn ic4 has a better drive train and the fly wheel has more inertia and feels better. the joroto x2 bike from amazon is pretty nice, but the flywheel is lighter and doesn't feel quite as nice as the schwinn indoor cycling bike. each of these bikes are decent peloton bike alternative options. you can watch the full video to learn more about both the schwinn ic4 aka the bowflex c6, and also the joroto x2. i have another full video on the joroto x2 and a full joroto x2 review on my channel, so be sure to browse my page to find that.

This is the gold standard of product comparison videos
Thank you Eric, means a lot to me!
Thanks- your reviews are awesome, and helped me decide. I finally clicked on the link and bought the schwinn! great job!
Awesome choice, happy riding! Thank you!
I can safely say that I spent the vast majority of this morning and afternoon watching your review and comparison videos. Thank you for spending so much time to compile them! I used your link to order my Schwinn IC$ this afternoon. :-)
I meant IC4, but IC$ seems appropriate too. 😂
You do a great job. I like the table of contents that allows FF to sections of interest. Kudos bro. I hope the IC4 goes on sale on Black Friday. I want one!
thanks Chad, hope you get the bike you want at a good price. happy riding brother!
Going with the joroto and made sure to click on your link 🤙🏼
thank you! I am looking at spin bikes. I have a lot of watching to do.
Enjoy Abby!
Thanks for all your useful videos. Perhaps you could come up with the Best bike under $1000 video? Btw which one would you recommend for under 1k?
I know it’s crazy, but for me mentally being able select the same resistance level quickly and repeatably for tracking and Peloton class engagement is deciding factor, so went with the IC4. But I seem to be alone in that and everyone has their own criteria. The IC4 has some issues, but that 1 feature was important
I have really been enjoying all of your review videos. You’re super thorough which is appreciated. Definitely making it hard for me to decide on a bike but leaning toward a Schwinn ic4. It would be interesting to see a comparison between the Joroto x2 vs the Echelon Connect Sport/Prime since they’re kinda in the same price point.
Thank you for leaving this comment, it means a lot to me! sorry for making it difficult to decide lol, the schwinn ic legit, but does have it's own downsides too. thanks for the video idea, ill add it to my list, been sorting out how i am ranking all these bikes on my new scale, its a lot tougher to rate them then i initially thought it would be!
agree
I am curious to see your final results on what you feel is the best peloton alternative...taking into consideration build quality, features, and price ...especially if you want to use it with Peloton digital ! With the Sunny & Joroto you need to add cadence sensors & tablet/phone holders. The sunny has no holders & the Joroto's can only be used to hold either a tablet or water bottles but not both. Also the Sunny uses a felt friction pad ( wear & tear requiring more maintenance as well as being nosier). The Scwinn is almost $900 but includes water bottle holders, tablet holder, spd pedals & built in console...even though the cadence/ rpm metric sucks with a line graph vs a number . The Echelon Prime/Sisters Sisters (if Amazon ever resells it ) are only $500 but have water bottle holder, tablet /phone holder & includes full metrics via Bluetooth to its own echelon app . So you can either pay for its own connected services at same price as Peloton ($40/mo) and have a similar experience saving $1500-$2000 upfront or you can use the app in Free Ride on a phone along with Peloton on TV pr Tablet and pay only $13/mo for Peloton digital thus also saving another $27/mo or $324 a year! The Proform CBC is the cheapest of them all at less than $400! Includes a built in console with full metrics and even includes its own Ifit Service for One year ! That alone is a $400 value ! Its like you are paying for the service & getting the bike free ! The question is what is ongoing quality & how good are ifit classes & instructers compared to peloton or echelon . If you want to use Peloton & have a way to access Peloton on a TV then the issue with Tablet covering the console should not be an issue..but if you need to use the tablet holder to use Peloton or just want to chill and watch Netflix, hulu, hbo etc...then you have a problem ...cause the tablet will cover both the console & resistance controls. I would like to see you test out using alternative way to hold a tablet /phone on the Proform. I know you have both a bike phone holder & a gooseneck tablet holder. But so far based on your awesome videos and never ever seeing these bikes in person or using them other than the Scwinnn & Peloton....I would say the overall best value winner is the Proform...with Echelon in 2nd with Scwinn in 3rd. I personally would not be interested in the Sunny or Joroto. Also another added bonus of the Proform is its coming from Costco...so if you ever have any problems you have their extended return policy! I would also be interested in seeing your review the more expensive Echelon EX series with the rear flywheel (similar to kaiser) very curious to see how the cheaper Sport/ Prime compare to their older more expensive sisters !
instead of smoking crack, You're addicted to Exercise Bikes. Obsessed with Exercise bikes and I love it.
Lol, I'm not sure which is more financially destructive thanks for you comment, merry christmas
@@TailHappyTV HA.HA. The Crack of course.
Can you review the cyclace bike on Amazon. I want to purchase it but I haven't seen many reviews on weight limits and noise of the resistance and durability.
Omg you are the best!!
I picked up a brand new joroto x2 this weekend for 170$ . Very well built bike ( I’m 6’3 250 lbs) and it’s been great thus far especially for the price I got it for even at 300-400$ = very well worth it . No way in hell I’d spend 500$+ on an exercise bike
Same question
How has the Joroto stacked up 2 years later?
@@GarrettMoriarty still great and good as new. Has held up perfectly and I’m 6’3 255 lbs lol. It was a great purchase
hello can you make a review on the urevo bike
Can you do a review on the Dmasun exercise bike
Damn tough call , i am comparing the c6 to the inspire ic1.5 , not sure if the bowflex is worth double the price
Is the Jaroto compatible with the peloton app?
Is the extended warranty recommended? Does it give 5 year extended parts warranty over 3 years? I'm about to get the IC4 but wondering if I should get the extended warranty. Stretching my budget a little so debating.
I can just imagine stepping in to your house and be like " wow you have a lot of bikes" hehe great vids.
wait til you step onto the balcony and see the non-stationary bikes! i know, i have a problem. working on it :) thanks for your comment made me laugh!
@@TailHappyTV Yes i was thinking the same thing, like damn your wife must hate having to walk around all those bikes.
Thanks for the great review! Question regarding the Schwinn IC4: is it NECESSARY to plug in the bike to an outlet (around 14:30 you point out there's a plug connector...), or can one use it without plugging it in, relying just on the batteries for the monitor?)
pretty sure you need to plug it into the wall
Please can you share details of the shoes you use? I'm looking for a pair I can wear for general exercise with clip in function
Something I want to recommend is that you may want to also state their weight limit. Last time I looked at joroto I thought it said weight limit 260 but the ic4 I do know the documentation says 330lb weight limit. This is helpful when you overweight.
Thank you Stefan! Excellent point, I have been totally over looking this!
Joroto x2 300 lbs
Will you or have you reviewed the Joroto x4?
Can you do a comparison between the Joroto X2 and the Echelon Sport Connect since they're pretty much the same price?
yess
I bought 3 IC4s from 2 different online stores and returned all of them back due to the transit damages. Schwinn [Nautilus Inc] used a thin & cheap corrugated box that is not suitable for its price of $1000.
I'm 6'6" and 367lbs. Are either of these able to accommodate?
Just want a bike to measure output in Watts, I have a Sunny and an old Schwinn.
The joroto can it use any a dance sensor
I know that you don't advise on the longevity of bikes, but I'm curious what your thoughts are on the comparison between the Joroto and the sunny for quality? I'm someone who doesn't really care about metrics, I just want a good bike that can get me good workouts and be low maintenance. Thanks for the videos - my wife says I spend way too much time watching! haha
Lol thanks for watching Bobby. I feel like Sunny sb1002 is the higher quality machine of the two, they have a long history and track record too. Will be doing a tailhappy score on the sunny soon. Hope this helps.
@@TailHappyTV Awesome - I've been waiting for that...can't wait! Appreciate your help.
What are your thoughts on the Joroto X1S? It appears to have and better monitor that includes RPM.
It just arrived to my front door, video coming soon
What do u do with so many bikes.
What do you think about buying a used bike?
Suggest having a more average height person demo machine.
Working on this
Really annoying how nobody talks about the power metre readings.. This is the most important factor if your a competitive rider, I don't care about cadence, heartbeat or speed readings..
Schwinn is $699 at Amazon now.
Maybe you should mention how tall you are again
Lol, I only do that because I know many ppl skim the video do I try and put the relevant info at relevant places. :D
