it's weird to me that all monitors seemed to have gone up in price since this was posted.

Hi Plut0. Do you any issue with this monitort? Dead pixel or any other problem?
The way I got around the super warm, reddish tint was by enabling hdr. You're probably going to want to lower the brightness balance after that through pc settings as well. I also disabled overdrive entirely because it had massive amounts of overshoot at even its lowest setting, but the display doesn't have enough ghosting to warrant an overdrive in the first place, so no big deal. It's looking great now, and for $240 from Micro Center I would say it's been an awesome upgrade from my old 1080-60 monitor. Would recommend to anyone looking for a budget friendly "bang for the buck" upgrade.
Soo the ghosting isnt a lot on this monitor?
@@zakariadjanati6107 It's noticeable in a testing environment. I haven't really been bothered by, or even noticed it in-game. It's a budget consideration. If you're sensitive to it you'll probably want to shop around in a higher price category. Just my taste/opinion though. Don't take my word as gospel.

It seems that on all these Asus IPS monitors picture is not stretched out all the way to the edges (bezel) of the monitor. How do you connect a cpu to that monitor im new to gaming I want to get the rest I need for the monitor so I can run cod at 165hz
I'm asking for advice. I intend to buy a gaming monitor, ( NOT for gaming primarily ), but to connect my Samsung Z Fold 3 smartphone, and to use the monitor as a second screen for the smartphone. Primarily to watch movies and videos. Occasionally, there will be some gaming, using my smartphone. I do have a gaming desktop PC, which is an entirely different set up, and I don't need any help with that. Question: Since my smartphone display is 1920 X 1080p resolution, with a refresh rate of 120hz, would I be wasting my money, if I bought a gaming monitor with a higher resolution, ( say, for instance 1440p, and a higher refresh rate, say, for instance 165 or 170 hz )? Wouldn't my monitor be "limited" by the capabilities of my smartphone, and therefore, I would "not" need a monitor higher than 1080p resolution, and also, no higher than a 120hz refresh rate? Same specifications as the smartphone's display? Is that true? Or, false? Thank you very much. I appreciate your input. I think the answer is obvious, ( even to me ), but I want to hear someone else tell me.
From Samsung “Wired: Supports DisplayPort over USB type-C. Supports video out when connecting via HDMI Adapter. (DisplayPort 4K UHD at 60 fps)” so you could technically go up to 4k, but 1440p 120hz may be your best bet. It just doesn’t provide refresh rate numbers for other resolutions outside of 4k
@@TechRoundUp I really appreciate your rapid, and thoughtful, response. Thanks very much. I want to know, whether my smartphone's display resolution specs, ( 1920 X 1080p ), and refresh rate spec, ( 120hz ), will be the "limit" that my new monitor will be bound to? I don't see how I can achieve 1440p resolution, connected to a smartphone that "tops out" at 1080p. If that's the case, then it would make "no sense", for me to buy a gaming monitor with a higher resolution, and faster refresh rate, ( because the new monitor will be connected to, and driven by, that smartphone ). Is my thinking right? Is that correct? Or, not? I want to buy the new gaming monitor today, ( immediately ), or as soon as I know what makes sense. Thanks again, very much. I appreciate your expertise.
The screen resolution of your phone will not match the usb-c output capabilities to an external monitor. The processor in the phone can support much higher resolution than 1080p, for an external monitor.
@@TechRoundUp So, buying a 1440p gaming monitor might be a good idea? How about refresh rate? Does the same hold true for that? Can my monitor go faster than 120hz? Because that's what the phone puts out. Thanks. And, if you don't mind educating me, a little, how do you know my smartphone's processor can push my monitor above 1080p? How could I look at the specs of my processor, and figure that out too, ( like you did )?
@@TechRoundUp Been shopping. Trying to take your advice, but every time I find a portable gaming monitor, ( with higher screen resolution than 1080p ), the refresh rate is only 60hz. Quad HD, 2K, and 4K portable monitors, all brag about their tremendous picture qualities, but when you look at their numbers closely, their refresh rates are all a sorry-assed 60hz. So, it looks like, I have to choose. Please help me understand? I guess the current state of technology in this area means, you can't get both, in the same monitor, ( for under $1,000. ), and I'm looking at "portable" monitors. Not desktop monitors... I think, I would rather have the "speed" of a faster refresh rate. Televisions are 60hz. That's nothing to brag about. Will I still get a clear picture on my screen with 1080p? Most of my time will be spent watching movies, amd videos, but when I do play games, 60hz is "unacceptable". What do you think? What would you buy?

how does this monitor compare to a GIGABYTE Gaming M27Q X 27 ?
Wondering the same
does it run at 120hz in 1440 on ps5 or not?
I just buy this monitor and everything is going well 👌🏻
How is that going so far?
