A subscriber contacted me about picking up this AMC Javelin for him until he gets back from serving in Syria. This thing is pretty rad and I'm glad to see it going to a guy who loves AMC's!

So my 2 cents would be to keep them in if you want, I can skip them easy enough when I want. I like your videos. I'm glad Jen is getting her own channel. Keep this channel auto related and the MAJOR distractions to a minimum, then people who want to see Jen can go see Jen. That would appear as a win/win for me, I'm here for the auto work, not to ogle some other guy's wife.

  • I love that you've got that crazy airboat. Pretty rare to see that up north. I think you should also have a hydrofoil. I once crossed from Bolivia into Peru on a hydrofoil doing roughly 80 mph across lake Titicaca. And yes that is Beavis's favorite lake.

  • Love the detours, yours are always interesting! Glad that old Javelin got saved from the crusher - might be a little too far gone to restore, but def lots and lots of good parts. Great video as always man!

  • It's tough to say what the right thing for that car is. On one hand, it is a relatively rare car, and we need to save as many of them as possible at this point. On the other hand, it has been engine swapped and is worth less money, and needs a ton of work and very scarce and expensive parts. It is a very tough call. I would say that is worth saving due to the rarity and the fact that these cars are quickly rising in value.

  • I had a 1968 AMC Javelin. My Dad thought it would be a good safe car for me. Lots of power for an 18 year old girl in Detroit.

  • Go Navy! Beat Army! Grew up in a AMC family, too. Mom drove a chocolate brown Javelin in the seventies. Big V8, don't remember which one. I had a '68 Mustang, and the Javelin was quick. Thanks for bringing Gus.

  • As far as the side journeys... We know all work and no play makes for no fun. I like the side shots. They make you seem way more personal and pleasant and down to earth (or by air boat ;) ) than many others who wrench. You're a great guy brother. You're doing great. My cousin had herself a green Javlin, I think it was green. It was a cool ride. She had it for like 7 years.

  • Man I'm really impressed with your depth of knowledge about this stuff! She is definately a money pit! Maybe if your buddy has some body repair experience skill and welding experience skill! And some 3D CNC printing experience skill and with all the equipment and tools needed for the body and welding. He'd have to restore it from the ground up! With a huge market in Japan for "Low Rider's", he could recoup his money with a nice profit!

  • I and the wife personally like the stray aways.from what your working on. It does give a break from it. And allows the viewer fans to get to know who you and your wife are a bit. Love the family member pets and the squirrel. And we also love that you and Jenn love vintage, whether it's music, museums, vehicles, you both are just great down to earth folks. And we our selves would love to meet you all some day and become friends. So Hello from Great Falls, Montana
