Picked one up due to this video, and definetly feeling like main vibes. definetly replaced my hts + 4k, atlantis mini 4k, xlite v2 and finalmouse small as my favorite. i'll still use the others but most the time, this is it for shooters, especially with obsidian dots on my empress glass pad.
Fully agree with your review, this thing is a beast! They've improved the matte coating, feet, clicks and weight over the NP-01 and personally the shape is much better. I'll be modding with a paracord, Tiger Ice feet and removing 1 spring from inside the scroll wheel to reduce the noise. Don't see anything beating this for a while.
Amazing review, still waiting for mine to show up and watching this has me a lot more excited! As someone who's always played with zowie mice it's extremely nice to see Vaxee set a new high when it comes to comfort, engineering, and even weight when it comes to their new designs.

I just picked up this mouse after admiring Vaxee's engineering and very straightforward marketing. It takes a lot of confidence in your product to not rely on the typical over-the-top marketing. I have never been good at flick shots, but within 2 hours of playing with this mouse, I felt like my aim was actually feeling locked in for once. I could hit bocek flicks in Apex, and 2ms click latency feels fantastic. It might not be a shape that everyone vibes with, especially if you fingertip grip, but it is my favorite shape so far.

I had the NP-01 and after trying out the NP-01S it quickly became my main. I love the changes they made with the NP-01S compared to the original. I did not like the curvature of the back left part of the mouse and the placement of the side buttons. And now to me the NP-01S is absolutely perfect. I prefer it over my viper mini and pulsefire haste. Absolutely incredible job by Vaxee. Now they need to start making their mice wireless

How does the NP-01S feel for the little pinky finger VS the Viper Mini? I want a shape like my Viper Mini but without that finger hurting after a while
I received mine yesterday. I really like the new matte coating compared to my og np01. Really liking the shape so far.
Yeah the VAXEE matte coating is one of the best coatings I've tried.
They also recently updated the coating of the original NP01, from now on it'll be the same as NP01S.
I agree about the gwolves cable, mixing stiffer sections with softer sections is probably the way forward. Big fan of this mouse though.
Yeah, a cable like that would be nice to see. The G-Wolves cable needs more iterating though, the preprod cable felt a bit weird, but I believe something can come out of that for sure.
I love the mouse ! Just received it last week & I can't stop using it over my G pro x. Just couldn't get over the fact that the scroll wheel sounds horrendous so I did the mod on it. Now it will be my main until a wireless version comes out xD!

I have about the same hand size as you, I believe my grip is relaxed claw and I absolutely love the Xm1 shape. I can support the back of the mouse with my palm and adjust(also support) the front part of the mouse with the tip of my thumb(left side) and ring finger + pinky (on the right side)... it definitely is the best shape I've tried in terms of aim and comfort overall (the description you gave of how comfort plays out in a competitive scenario regarding RJN mouse is so fucking true). I am currently maining the Xm1R and I can't fucking stand the cable getting under the mouse anymore, I just hate flexible cables. That's why I'm pretty interested in this one... I do, however, prefer ambidextrous mice and I heard the Np01 is a mixture of both styles, do you think it would be possible to use this as an ambi? also, do you think the back hump of the Np01-S is tall enough to give palm support or the original Np 01 would be better? I also just ordered the Burst Pro as I fell it will suit me very well due to my grip style...
Hard to say which you would prefer, NP-01 or NP-01S neither feel like the XM1r that much. NP-01 hump is quite a bit bulkier than the XM1 hump, where as the NP-01S hump is slightly less bulky than the XM1 hump.
Fantastic review! Out of curiosity, do you have a weight of some sort on the mouse cable? It looked like it's somewhat thicker a quarter way down the cable. Thanks!

Great review as always. The only thing i would wish for in the Vaxee mice is a slightly lower button height on m1 and m2, as I seem to aim better, with the buttons closer to the mousepad. Maybe it's just in my head and I need to get used to higher button height, but hey :D

Thinking of trying the NP-01s later on some time maybe, as I really liked the M42 as well! Approx same hand size btw. Only doubt is, that I didnt really like the OG NP-01. Does the 01s feel noticeable different?

I was surprised how much the m42 flared out on the sides compared to my viper mini. Is the outside flare (thumb side) too drastic on the NP-01S? I have heard a few people say it flares out too much and should be reduced.

17x8cm hands this or ec2c or outset ax for csgo? I use claw/relaxed claw. I have s2c but its too slim for me and i whiff very many shots with it(i know it can be just my aim but i dont whiff as much with razer viper)

I have 21x10cm hands i claw grip and not sure if i should get this or the xm1r coming from a viper ultimate i felt like i need something to fill the back of my hands a little bit more but still good for aggresive claw grip, will be using it for fps games in.general such as valorant, csgo, apex legends, battlefield 4 and some fortnite so i need some good side buttons too
XM1r is a safer bet, the NP-01S is a fair bit thinner. I myself prefer the NP-01s with 19x10cm hands, but your hands are a tad longer. You should be able to use the NP-01s as well though!
I have both models and for me the glossy feels lighter, I wonder if it's just because glossy sticks to my skin better, as a result I have a more skin to surface contact/sticks.
Fairly certain it's just as you think, stickier surface and better skin to surface contact!

Could you tell me the reason behind why you changed your DPI in csgo from 800 to 1600? (assuming you use the same eDPI overall)

I highly suggest people investing in mouse bungees that actually give some good height(like the Zowie Camade) if they're bothered by non-XM1 cords.
Yup, the Pulsar Microbungee is very good for this as well. But it's dependant on your monitor stand. With shitty monitor stand it might be hard to get a good setup with it.
Which is the most comfortable, outset ax, np-01, or this? 19x10.5cm hands. I mainly claw-palm hybrid but I wouldn’t mind changing my grip if it means comfort haha xm1r is too uncomfortable for me. I found the razer deathadder shape to be comfortable.
All are fairly comfortable, Outset AX might be good if you liked the DA!

Im torn between Vaxee np01-s or the endgame xm1r. What do you guys recommend for a hybrid claw/palm. The only problem i have with vaxee is that I have to buy it overseas and is php 1000 (20usd) more due to shipping fees

Both are great tbh, if your hands are large the XM1r is probably a better option, and if your hands are smaller the NP-01S is probably better.

Slight pretravel is probably intentional, same as slight post travel, but I see slight post travel actualyl as quite important in terms of click feel
I hope Vaxee/Zygen makes an FK2, or something with a mid hump and low profile back slope.
NP-01S is very close to the FK2! You might like it.

I still dont really understand what is the click response setting, people say its for reducing double clicking, but different response time means it would happen anyway but with a different delay? Is the setting making you not able to click 2 times in 2-4-8ms? Or is it actually changing response of the buttons being pressed, so theres less input delay? Or does it mean, the button has to be pressed for 2-4-8 ms to register as a click? Im so confused
It depends on the implementation, but for most products it affects click response time!

The scrolls, clicks and sensor is on top it’s honestly my endgame mouse and I can’t wait until the drop a wireless version thanks again for the recommendation.

In my opinion scroll wheels for gaming mice should be VERY stiff. I hate wheels where I scroll when trying to press them down and I feel like you NEED a stiff wheel for this to be possible.

Very agreeable, I use my M3 very very often for pinging in Valorant, and the Zowie S2's super stiff scroll wheel really helps prevent mistakingly switching up weapons, but for example I found in the GPX's super light scroll wheel a surprisingly stable click and I've never had any unintentional scroll wheels, so I wouldn't say stiffness is necessary :)

@@niloykesslar2447 it's more of an ergo shape than the centered ambi hump of the za13, I have much better vertical movement for small/micro adjustments on the np-01s than the za13 with my 16.5 x 8.5 but I do like the shape of m1 & m2 on the za more than the np (slight comfort grooves rather than rounded buttons) but the actual click feel is better on the np
Incredible mouse! I did go back to the viper mini again tho... If the viper mini didnt exist i would probably main this mouse, but i just cant find anything that beats out how i perform with the mini as it is my best performing mouse.
Ohh damn, the RVM is great, I just can't see myself using it again with all of these more premium options!
@@hausgaming I think what enables me to aim so well with it is its size and shape. Its a pure fingertip mouse and its only 30$. Its not premium in the sense that it has the best of the best specwise, but for me its a size and shape thing. Im just always on target with it.
