next time for fun lets say they were to debut as 17 members but mingyu accidentally sat on one of them, one was a victim of woozis guitar attack and two of them died while enduring hoshis dance training. so sadly 4 of them died
@@bareerabinteshozab2702 I just always say that they miscounted because they were so young, or that a wild tiger ate the remaining 4, or that there are actually 17 members that change with each comeback so they aren't that many. These are my favorites, but you have to be careful with the last one because some people will actually believe that to be true.

Dk and seungkwan are the "main vocals" basically meaning they're power vocals, woozi (shortest one) is the vocal leader and composer+songwriter+producer of the team, hoshi is the performance leader+choreographer, and Scoups is the hip hop unit leader and overall leader of the group. They're divided in 3 units, hip hop (rap), vocal and performance (dance). But they're all incredible dancers and singers/rappers and their group is known for their insane performances and synchronisation
The fact that they're self producing is also a big part of their reputation, because no other kpop group takes this much part in their entire creative/productive process.

I feel like seungkwan deserves more recognition like he has a natural raspy/husky voice and he put forth such hard work to learn to sing with it and even tho all of the vocalists r good but there’s no denying that seungkwan has that soulfulness that’s just overall amazing.
Yeah dk and seungkwan both are top tier honestly. There are certain times where i prefer one over another on some songs and parts but on other songs it becomes reversed. They have certain styles and skills that suits their voices but when they sing together they complement each other soo much

As a carat , I think that seokmin's voice is one of the best voice in kpop,not just in seventeen. He is killing every part. I really can't say any bad things about his voice. he is powerfull. I am really proud of our seokmin.

Seventeen's line up changed about 7 times throughout pre-debut and there never was a single period where the line up consisted of 17 members. Yes, coincidentally they did have a total of 17 different guys who were part of the line up at one point or another, but as a whole, Seventeen never had 17 members at any given point. Sorry for the long explanation! This is probably one of the most widespread misinformation in Kpop that even carats get wrong 😅
Dk and Seungkwan were the 2 youngest contestants got into the 3rd round of a korean variety show called 'Masked Singer', when they were 19 years old (DK was 19 in 2016, Seungkwan was still 19 in 2017). We carats are super proud of our 2 main vocalists. (when I say 'proud', I know it's not my achievement, but you all know what I mean)
When you said "maybe they dance. You think they dance?" Made me giggle a little because Seventeen is really known for their super synchronized, incredibly dynamic choreography 😅 Also DK has easily my favorite vocal in kpop its just so crisp every single time. DK appreciation yall 💕💕

DK absolutely has a forward and pronounced vocal tone that’s clear and crisp. All of seventeen are incredibly talented in so many fields but DK does have a stand out vocal color.
seeing people acknowledge how he stands out makes me happy because i remember DK crying before when a judge said that despite being a main vocal, he does not stand out at all. now look at him 🥹

Dk is just another universe when it comes to voices. To me, what draws me to his voice is not only that it’s strong and beautiful(almost effortlessly), but that he seems to enjoy singing SOO much. It feels like music and singing is his life, it’s apart of who he is. I feel like that genuine joy and love translates over to me every time he sings. I get happy watching him sing!

The 2 ones that you mentioned, Seungkwan is the blonde one and DK is the one with black hair and jeans jacket, are the main vocals of the group! DK is also a musical actor.
Yess, DK deserves more appreciation for that, he really took the time to work on his vocal technique as King Arthur! I didn't think he could get any better but he really surprised me with how much he improved.

@Hamza it's not a competition, they're team members. We are just alluding to the fact that Dokyeom truly does not receive enough recognition for his vocal ability, when he should. He is a treasure. (Another thing, no fan has ever said that about Seungkwan. Carats love him just like we love DK and all of the other members. There are antis and solo stans that attack certain members and just like Seungkwan has been bullied so have the other members. Never forget that DK has been a victim of colorist remarks, but that has nothing to do with how talented they are vocally.)

i literally found out about dokyeom like 5 days ago but he absolutely got me with his beautiful voice, I've quite literally been obsessed! Anyway just wanna say that it feels so good to see you both praise his vocals cause honestly he deserves all the recognition and more!!!

They do everything, even writing their own songs. The guy who's folding his arms are the one making their songs 99% of the time. They dance too and is one of the most synchronized kpop groups. They were also labeled Kings of Synchronization because of it, everyone's a great dancer.

DK is incredibly consistent as a singer and always has been, but this Killing Voice is one of the best displays of just how amazing he is, so I'm really glad this was your introduction to him!

I wanna toss my two cents in because in some of their dance practice behind-the-scenes, DK (the one y'all are obsessed with) is dancing WHILE singing and he sounds exactly like the track, which is freaking crazy and knocks my socks off every time.
Seventeen is special , they can all sing , dance , rap and act. Happy that they can see DK and his clear , distinct and powerful voice. This group is one of the most talented groups in Kpop.

from this reaction, I feel like maybe they are unfamiliar with the concept of 'Main vocalists' in Kpop groups😂 but yes since DK is their main vocalists aka best vocalists next to Seungkwan its understandable why they would immediately focus on him. Plus I think one of the great things about Seventeen's voices is that its a mix, some are breathier, some have stronger voices and some are deeper and that is what makes Seventeen sound amazing. This video went from a reaction to Seventeen to DK appreciation video 😂

The guy with the dark hair and jean jacket over the white shirt is Dokyeom, and he does musical theatre!! If you watch older live clips versus newer ones you can definitely hear how doing musicals has improved and changed his voice :)
I love how they love DKs voice. He really needs more appreciation. Just a litlle bit sad that Coups doesn't sing in this video because they talked about rappers singing and I think his rap and singing voice sounds really different.
I love how Dokyeom is recognized here. I rewatched seventeen project yesterday and saw DK's hard time bcz his singing wasn't highly recognized.

it was so interesting to hear your perspective on seventeen’s vocals! they’re well known for their choreography and live performances so sometimes I think the quality of their vocals can go under appreciated, so excited for part 2!
The reason seventeen are called is because there are 13 members + 3 units (Vocal, Performance, Hip Hop) + they are 1 team! 13+3+1= 17! :) Originally before they debuted they were going to have 17 members but 4 of them left before debut! Also i recommend Seventeens Dk cover of She didn't love me ( hes the guy in the black hair and black jean jacket) if you want to hear more amazing vocals!
The whole "There use to be 17 member but some left before debut" is not completely true. Seventeen's line up changed about 7 times throughout pre-debut and there never was a single period where the line up consisted of 17 members. Yes, coincidentally they did have a total of 17 different guys who were part of the line up at one point or another, but as a whole, Seventeen never had 17 members at any given point. Sorry for the long explanation! This is probably one of the most widespread misinformation in Kpop that even carats get wrong 😅
