Would you say a DJ that sticks a USB into a computer and pretends to move a few switches, while the people get high on alcohol and drugs means he's super talented? Wouldn't you say that opera singers have NO CLUE how to sing because the audience sit silent like in a funeral?

    • @@DonLee1980 fair points. the thing is, for the kind of money they were paying, the audience standing still with no facial expression, its far fetched to say the vocal is insanely good. ....imagine switching to say Tones and I concert....besides, I am personally playing this thing on a nice B&O speaker, and I could listen no more than 5 min before I want to curse.....Im just saying, the vocal whoever he is, is no where near insanely good. otherewise he didnt even need to say beyonce is way bertter than him. god just look at the audience reactions bro.

  • One Republic is not my "go to genre of music" but I knew a couple of songs so watched from a distance. What I didn't know is just how talented this singer really is! This dude really does a lot more than just being a singer in a band (I have nothing against people who are just singers in bands by the way). I was thoroughly impressed when the "karaoke part" of the show started. Mad respect for this guy for being able to write such good quality songs in the styles of different artists!

  • Ryan oh Ryan. You are THE GEM and a legend in the music industry. I have only watched 2 major concerts; from a foreign artist and from a foreign band. The solo artist disappointed me. One Republic IMPRESSED ME. 1R is unforgettable. Ryan Tedder is truly worthy of admiration, love and respect. Thank you for sharing your immense talent and your wonderful music.     • It's probably a cultural thing. OneRepublic has played at Pinkpop many times over the years. So Pinkpop knows OneRepublic and OneRepublic definitely knows Pinkpop. For better or for worse, not every country can have fans to same caliber as...say...Brazil lol

    • They played on the last day of a 3 day festival and lemme tell you it was extremely hot all 3 days, i think alot of people were drained of energy. And I think their timing wasn't the best that day Playing before MGK and The Red Hot Chili Peppers. Most people in front were probably people that wanted to be in front for the Peppers and alot of 'younger' people moved to stage 2 for MGK. And it could be just me but i was kinda dissapointed with their show. I don't know if this is edited in some way but it defo didn't sound this clean live. And the way he tried to connect with the audience just didn't work for him.

  • I went to many festivals in the last 7 years, even on festivals that I would never imagine I could attend. Last week I was at loolapaloza in Stockholm where Onerepublic was headlining. One of the best live acts I´ve seen and definitely wont forget! Thank you Onerepublic!!

  • Ryan is such a dynamic entertainer and singer and so humble and sweet! Love all their songs and saw them live in Berlin a few years back in a very small and intimate venue and he's always had this energetic presence. Sorry the crowd wasn't more appreciative towards your talent!

  • Ik ben vorig jaar 2x naar een Concert van OneRepublic geweest. Wat een band. Live zo onvoorstelbaar goed. Als ze ooit weer naar NL komen in de ZiggoDome of Afas-Live, gewoon doen. Een kaartje is betaalbaar, 50 euro ofzo, erg veel waar voor je geld. Er zijn grotere namen qua artiesten en bands, maar er zijn weinig beter. Live gewoon steengoed.
